Infrared lights dry automotive paint from the inside out or maybe I shouldn't mention it since I don't know the answer, but I'll say that I do know it. Layers are stacked from the first to the last. There is one wire at each end of each bulb on a regular outlet 110 volts. One end of the liar goes to the white wire at the plug, the other end goes to the black wire at the plug. My experience with powder coating does not include steel, but I suspect it would work just fine if you were to powder coat steel.
Easy to install and buy, this product is one of the best you can buy.
The controllers are absent from their system. The lights are mounted on brackets as bare bulbs. It is not possible to wire them together. These need to be wired, and I suggest heavy duty wiring and a 30 amp plug. They will melt a regular plug if not wired correctly.

It has taken me a while to get a chance to test them, but I have been using I had one in my order that was delivered with a broken bulb as well, as reviewed by others. I was able to resolve the issue with the seller after contacting them. The item has several issues that I find concerning Despite what the advertisement claims, these are not heavy duty. I will probably make my own mounting brackets since the ones provided are VERY flimsy. I get the impression that the lights are working fine, but the hardware is not. In certain spots of the fixtures, the edges of the holes where the wires exit have been left very sharp, and the edges have not been adequately cleaned. It would have been better if they were cleaned up so as not to Besides using silicone grommets, they should have used an architectural silicone grommet rather than a normal grommet An exit point for the wires is provided by a temporary strain relief. There should have been one wire coming from each end of the fixture, since wiring these will be more straightforward if they come from one end.
However, there are some issues. I love how well they work! It definitely tripped the 15 amp breaker, and one out of six bulbs are out of order. In addition to those two, sure, they're cheap and flimsy, but I really needed just the strips and holders to hold the bulbs during a powder-coating oven project, and they did the trick.
It needs to be plugged in. There aren't six wires hanging in the air without Junk from China at a low price.
The manual did not come with the product. In the box there were no plugs. Bolts literally threw into the box without any thought. Likewise, there will be broken lights since they are thrown into the shipping box as well. We have 2 light fixtures (out of 6 that are broken) working perfectly. They are so amazing that they are providing you with two copies if you purchase the item in full We have three lights working.
The construction is a bit flimsy, but the parts work fine. Metal of a thin film.
I do NOT recommend it.
