This pump isn't intended for "recovery." It simply pulls a vacuum on an "empty" system (as there is no way to collect the exhaust). Even then, you'll require gauges and hoses.
It will vacuum out anything if you can figure out the proper fittings to connect it airtight.

I'm not sure what the question is asking. What is the difference between a CNC router, a cutter, and this? This vacuum is designed specifically to remove moisture from an air conditioner. That's what I do with it.

Because they didn't know the manufacturer's quality control policies, they had to manually back out the drain plug to see if it was cross threaded. They wouldn't have had this public review if that were the case.
This is a fantastic device. I expected it to be loud, as other similar brands have been, but this pine is actually quite quiet. It's possible that I'll fall asleep next to it. When it's running, there's only a faint hum. I haven't yet set up my entire vacuum system for wood stabilization, but this unit has so far exceeded my expectations. This one was always the winner in budget friendly vacuum pumps, according to everyone I asked about various brands. This is SO MUCH BETTER THAN ALL THE OTHER CHEAP CHINESE BRAND NAME NAME NAME NAME NAME NAME NAME NAME the same unit should be labeled There's also a warranty included. I guarantee you will not be disappointed if you purchase this brand.
It should be primarily cosmetic, but still new. Despite the fact that the shipping box was in good condition, the package arrived damaged. Most of it is cosmetic, but it should still be new. I took it out of the box and opened it. It came with enough oil to fill it up once, but you should buy more. I turned it on for a quick test to see if it worked and if it sucked. It all appeared to be in order. Smoked a little, but that's to be expected with this pump, according to what I've read. The smoke slowed or stopped once it created a vacuum. If there are any performance issues, I will update the stars.
Based on the reviews, I decided to purchase this vacuum pump, and I'm glad I did. The pump performs admirably and comes at a low cost. It's extremely quiet, and it quickly drained the battery in my car. br>br>A plastic bottle of vacuum pump oil is included, which is enough to fill one vacuum pump. After each use, it is suggested that the oil be replaced. The compressor has a standard R12 1/4" fitting, but it comes with an adapter for the larger R134 fitting. Overall, this was an excellent purchase that was well worth the investment.
For my garage at home, this is ideal. I've learned to do my own AC work and, despite spending several hundred dollars on the necessary equipment, I've saved that much and more. I have a recovery tank and an extracting pump, so whenever I need to check something in any of my vehicles, I can recover the refrigerant, do the work, and put everything back at almost no additional cost.
I used it on two different vehicles after repairing the air conditioning compressors in both of them, so it has already paid for itself! Allow for a 10-minute run time after this pulls a deep vaccum close to 30inHG. Both vehicles are still blowing cold after 20 minutes and a full charge. br>br>Unit came with oil and some small adapters for connecting it to an A/C manifold, and it runs quietly; I'd buy it again if I needed a vacuum pump for something else.
This is something I've never had to use. I did turn it on and let the oil circulate. You don't want to go past the fill line, so be careful and add the supplied oil slowly. It won't take the entire bottle.
Mine did not object when I drew a blocked off manifold gauge set line down to 30inhg. I haven't put it through its paces on a large container yet, but I'll let you know if it fails. It comes with a 1/4" male flare fitting and an adapter to step it up to 1/2" acme, allowing you to connect it to an r134a a/c gauge set or something similar. You'll need to buy oil because the instructions state that it needs to be changed almost immediately after filling it up and running it for the first time. I found the oil to be dirty after doing the oil change as instructed, so changing it was a good idea. According to the owner's manual, changing the oil is the first step in resolving almost any problem with the unit's operation. So there you have it.
