The 3/8 port should be on top of your vacuum, just cap the 1/4 with a cap, bro, this isn't rocket science, get yourself a set and step up.
These gauges are designed to work with R22, 404a, and 410a. A manifold similar to the 49983 that can handle 134a is the 49983.
You'd have to swap out the display gauges for Celsius gauge heads if you wanted to use it.

They wouldn't pull down to 500 microns and stay there; instead, they'd return to atmospheric pressure. Ports began to leak. It worked perfectly after I redone the teflon. I would definitely recommend these, but make sure you test them first with a Micrometer before attempting to pull a vacuum. I'm not angry in the least.
When the manifold started spewing refrigerant, I was in love with it for two days. The leak was initially thought to be coming from behind the yellow hose knob, but upon closer inspection, the sight glass was found to be leaking. So now I have the option of returning it and waiting a week for a replacement, purchasing a removal tool (another $30 plus shipping), or making one.
I'm a tradesman who uses these gauges on a daily basis, and I can't say enough about how pleased I am with them. A faster vacuum can be achieved thanks to the four ports. They have some weight to them as well. The manifold is guaranteed to be leak-free for the rest of its life. I'm glad I bought these.
Hello,br>I recently purchased these gauges and they are in good condition, with the exception of the low side gauge, which broke after only two uses. It's at vacuum, negative 30, and I can't get it back even with the screw. You can only adjust it a couple of bars with the setting screw. The gauges, on the other hand, are fantastic. They are my favorite. I'd give it five stars if I could. I'll give it 5 stars if the gauge isn't an issue.
Yellow Jacket is a sure-fire winner. These are something I use on a daily basis. They've made it a lot easier for me to do my job. They're simple to fill, and you can vacuum them up quickly. You'll enjoy them if you give them a shot.
It's difficult to get stung when purchasing Yellow Jacket merchandise. The valves appear to be a little slack. When they're cracked open, they wiggle just a little. That does not appeal to me. They don't, however, leak in any way. Otherwise, everything is fantastic.
I was unsure which gauges to choose because I am new to the HVAC industry. I did my homework and discovered this fantastic set of gauges, which I immediately purchased. With these gauges, I enjoy recovering, pulling vacuums, and charging, as well as watching the refrigerant through the sight glass. These valves are nice and sturdy, so if you look after them, they'll look after you.
The quality of the product is excellent, and the turning knobs are smooth and easy to turn. I will update in six months.
