Its quality has left a lasting impression on me. It appears to be much better in person than it does in the photo. It has a site glass on both sides so you can see all the way to the other side, which is very nice. br>It appears to be very durablebr>I've used it to fill both r22 and r410a in four HVAC systems so far. It really works. Instead of pumping liquid into the vapor line, pressures quickly stabilize, and the refrigerant enters as a vapor. br>However, you can't just open the valve full blast and dump refrigerant into the system because this will only boil/flash the refrigerant if it's delivered slowly. However, using this product speeds up the process and ensures that hvac systems are not overfilled.

This isn't going to work

When charging the system, the liquid refrigerant does not flash into vapor as it should. It's a good thing there's a sight glass on it because it confirms it doesn't work! To rule out user error, I followed all product instructions to the letter. I went out and purchased another product from a different manufacturer that does the job perfectly. Don't waste your money on this one, and don't risk damaging your compressor.

This is a must-have tool; I've been using it for r22 and 410a, and charging in liquid with it makes the job go much more quickly. I don't have any issues at all.

I bought the gauge and hoses to refill the Freon in the air conditioner. When it came time to add the Freon, it was suggested that I use this vapor extension. It was a great success.

Great product that allows you to see if you're letting too much in and adjust how fast you're charging on the fly rather than vaporizing the liquid. The less you open your valve, the less liquid you'll see. This is a fantastic resource.

For R410A, this is a must

It'll be interesting to see how long it lasts, but for now it's working perfectly. For R410A refrigerant, this is a must. When charging, there is a window that allows you to see the vapor.
