Yes, calibration is required, but only once every two months or whenever it appears to be out of whack. You can put them to the test by clamping them to something that knows what temperature it is. br>br>Like ice, which has a temperature of 32 degrees. A menu for it is available on the gauges. A two-minute video about it is also available on YouTube. br>br>Oh, and if you prefer wireless probes, you can add them to this gauge as well. It is entirely your decision.

A great manifold for sure. Solid and reliable. It can be incredibly tough. Having a thick weight means it feels good, which can mean a lot at times but in essence doesn't make them so heavy. Anyway here I come.
It works well, but the wired thermocouples were calibrated incorrectly by 0. When compared to other calibrated probes, it was 5C, and the calibration method described in the manual could not be used to correct it.
I'm outside the return window and my micron gauge isn't working. Fieldpiece will be contacted directly, and hopefully they will correct the situation. Otherwise, this is an excellent gauge. If it is fixed, I will update my review.
These guages should not be purchased online due to their inaccuracy in subcool.
Investing wisely is a good thing to do. A high-priced item, but if you're a techie, you'll know what it's worth!.
