Hello Sir,br>This adapter is for R134a, and it may or may not fit the R12 gauge. br>However, you might want to try Our manifold gauge, which is well-made and suitable for R12. br>br>I hope this has been of assistance. Regards, Elias from the Detool Teambr>
6 n Connecting and disconnecting them is extremely difficult.
I am unsure - Mine, on the other hand, was a perfect fit and was designed for the 134 system.
I purchased these a few years ago and they are fantastic for me. There were no issues at all! It reminds me of Tony P. You can check the fittings by looking inside them to see if the pins move in and out when you turn them either way, as stated in the previous answer. It shouldn't be difficult to get in or out of them - When you put them on the valves, they snap into place. You must have a light-hearted attitude. hand or the schrader valve on the ac lines will be destroyed- Watch Erick The CAR Guy's video on charging ac systems on cars on YouTube; it's very clear and easy to understand. However, if the adapters you bought don't work, you'll have to send them back for replacements. Just make sure they're working correctly and keep an eye on Erick The Car Guy- Mine worked fantastically well, and the cost was very reasonable.

On the high side (red) valve of the set I received, the Open/Close direction arrows are backwards. The discharge was minimal because the plastic cap on the male flare fitting was still on. Aside from that, the product did its job perfectly.
HP is a different story. The low-pressure adapter is perfect, but the high-pressure adapter does not go far enough down to actually attach. As a result, this item will provide you with half of what you require. br>You'll still need to find an HP adapter, so this isn't a one-stop shop. br>br>Quality appears to be good. When the valve is attached, it does not appear to be leaking.
I used to connect to my car's air conditioning system by plugging into Schrader test ports with connectors that pressurize as the connection is made. Furthermore, when removing the connector, the Schrader valve remains open, resulting in freon and oil being sprayed all over the car and the person. These couplers allow you to connect to the test port without having to engage the Schrader valve. By turning the knob on the coupler after it has been connected, the Schrader valve is engaged. When it comes to connecting to automotive air conditioning systems, this is a must-have.
I double-checked that the quick connect was fully connected and that all connections were secure, but the leaks persisted. It's difficult to get a consistent vacuum, and I've tried it on a few different cars with the same result.
I tried using this on a GM vehicle (a 2004 Chevrolet Venture) but it didn't work. The low- The low-speed side is fine, but the high-speed side is a different story. The lock on one side will be ineffective. The port's shoulder prevents the connection from being complete. br>br>Alternate Yellow Jacket parts (41337 and 41338) were purchased and worked perfectly!.
My f250 does not appear to be able to accommodate them. I had to coerce them into wearing them. The lower side (blue) was adamant about not getting on. Maybe it's because the air conditioner hasn't been checked. I finally got it on and took the reading with the help of a small rubber mallet. I'm now unable to remove the blue side.
It works fine, and I got them for a lot less money than any local refrigeration store would.
The product was exactly what I expected. Before attempting to connect with the car, make sure they are turned to the closed position. That way, everything will run smoothly. The delivery was messed up by Amazon, but this has nothing to do with the product.
