This cord is not a 240 cord; it goes from a 120 30 amp to a 120 20 amp, so it won't work with a 240 toaster.
Twist Lock is a type of locking mechanism. Adapter for females. It's a good idea to double-check the type of requirement. After that, you can decide whether or not to purchase.
1)The answer is yes. If you're using a 110V extension cord, I'd recommend going with the thickest gauge available. Also, to avoid overheating, make sure the cord is fully extended rather than coiled.

Adapter converts 30 amps to 15 amps (household plug). This makes charging your camper's batteries or having power on your camper outlets a breeze without having to lug around a long extension cord, pull out the generator, or wire in a special plug at home. You can use it to power your A/C or microwave, depending on your camper. Keep in mind that your house circuits are typically 15 amps, so attempting to run everything at the same time will almost certainly trip a breaker in your house panel. It's convenient to be able to plug in your camper when getting ready for a trip or cleaning up afterward.
My RV Trailer power cord has a 30A twist-lock connector, which I use when I only need to keep the batteries charged and don't need the large 30A service cable connected. I can use a regular extension cord and/or a small generator with this adapter. I strongly suggest it.
Three times this season, the battery in my RV died. Finally, I learned about this converter, which allows me to keep my RV plugged in and my battery charged at all times, as long as you don't use the air conditioning.
It's easy to access the electric blades, but it appears to be well-made! It comes highly recommended from me!.
We did a test use when it arrived, and two prongs broke off. I'm glad we put it through its paces at home before heading out. I'm not sure if it was a one-off or if they're all of poor quality because we returned it for a refund.
This was purchased in order to connect our 30 amp RV to a house outlet. It really works.
The color is one of my favorites. Looks to be very heavy dutybr>Will have to wait a couple of years to see how good it is in comparison to the cheaper ones. They lasted for about three years on the cheap ones.
Female large end is in extremely short supply. I made a bad decision in terms of what it will be used for.
