This heavy duty plug will save me from future RV camping trips when it turns out that the outlets are only 50 amps and you need a 30 amp outlet instead. Having discovered this two weeks ago, I purchased this to help with any unexpected situations like that in the future. it is to have it and not need it than to need it but.
It was the cheapest one I could find to switch from a 50 amp to a The only issue I have is that the plugs are both turned in the same direction. In order to connect it to the other wire, it must bend around. However, it works fine, and it is reasonably priced.
Normally I do not like to use the 30 amp plugs in campgrounds because people use them improperly and they are often I don't have to worry about damage to my equipment since I use a 50 amp plug. This adapter is good value for the price. When hooking this up, I would always use a voltage meter to make sure the voltage is correct. A power feed that is available on the ground will destroy a Winnabego power feed. The hard way was my way of finding that out.
We keep this in our motorhome at all times, since we needed it when we had to hook up to a 50 amp service. I greatly appreciate you doing this!.
