What's the best way to go from a C to an F?

Turn off the device - F1 will appear if you hold down the "set" button. Then you can choose between F and C.

Is this device covered by a warranty?

This is the response I got from Alpicool on May 24, 2020. Yes, we have a one-month no-questions-asked return and refund period. In addition, the electrical system, compressor, and parts are all covered by a one-year warranty. Thansk

Is it possible to turn off the light so that it does not turn on when the lid is opened?

I would recommend covering it with duct tape.

It was only a month and a half long
3/5

After about 45 days, I decided to stop working. I have yet to speak with anyone from the manufacturer after two weeks of trying to contact them by phone and email. I strongly advise you to look into other options.

This isn't very practical
3/5

I set the temperature to 34 degrees Fahrenheit and 36 degrees Fahrenheit. It keeps it between 34 and 39 of the time it keeps it between 34 and 39 of the time it keeps it between 3 It got as low as 31 degrees Fahrenheit, but nothing inside was frozen, and it got as high as 41 degrees Fahrenheit on a couple of occasions. There are a lot of positive reviews about these things all over the place, stating how great they are. br>It's all right -
1. It consumes less energy than a Colman cooler or a 110-volt mini refrigerator. In 12 hours, the energy consumption can range from 230 to 340 Wh. br>2. There will be no start-up rush.
3. The temperature will be maintained at the desired level. (I ran it for two hours in a 90-degree environment. ) )br>br>Poor - br>br>Temperatures fluctuate from time to time, making me wonder if everything in there will freeze one day. ugliness - br>br> Everything that no one has ever mentioned in a review.
1. If the temperature drops below 12, I will stop working. Even in eco mode with the lowest cutoff settings, the battery will draw 8 volts when running. There doesn't appear to be any link between battery voltage and what appears on the screen. When it starts to run, the voltage sags below the cutoff on the screen, and that's it.
2. When running, it consumes as little as 48 watts and as much as 136 watts. High wattages are only good for a few seconds. It isn't a start-up rush. It can start with a power output of less than 50 watts and gradually increase and decrease as it runs. br>br>Reasons why it isn't feasible for me - When it's not running, I can't keep it running for more than 20 minutes on my vehicle's batteries. I was able to run Colman cooler for nearly 24 hours and still have enough power to start the car. Because of the high voltage cutoff, I'll need a battleborn to power it. I could have saved a lot of money by purchasing a regular mini fridge with a 600 watt inverter and wiring cable to connect it to a 100AH regular battery with isolator switch. When my mini freezer is turned on, it consumes 52 watts. The only drawback is that when it first starts up, it consumes nearly 500 watts of surge power.

Dry Camping is a breeze
5/5

This item was purchased to help me prepare for my first dry camping trip. I planned to power it with a Jackery 240 solar generator, which I also bought on Amazon. I'm living in a dorm-style apartment. My camper has a full-size refrigerator that I can't power with solar because my battery bank isn't big enough. I set the refrigerator to be a refrigerator on both sides because I didn't expect to be gone long enough to need to freeze food, but I wanted to keep the option open in case I did. My budget would not allow for a more well-equipped vehicle. Dometic, for example, is a well-known brand. The night before, I plugged it in and set the temperature to 33 degrees Fahrenheit, and it quickly cooled two bottles of water. While driving to my destination, I left it plugged into the car's 12 volt outlet. The two bins were large enough to hold all of my food for the few days I was gone, separated by a removable divider. Throughout my trip, it kept my food cold. I did notice that the right side, which can be set as a freezer, made the food on the bottom of that side slightly icy, but not to the point of being an inconvenience. It's possible that I had the temperature set too low, so I'll have to try again next time. It took a while for me to get used to the compressor turning on and off in my small camper because I wasn't used to any noise, but I didn't mind. It is not overly heavy, weighing only 30 pounds when empty. This camper was much easier to move thanks to the two wheels and folding handle. The internal lighting is also a nice touch. After I got back, I left it running for about two weeks to make sure it was still working. There are no issues to report; this is my first purchase of this type, and despite the fact that I have no other similar products to compare it to, I am very pleased with it. For me, it's the perfect size.

The dual zone system works well, but there is no Bluetooth support
3/5

Now that I've been tinkering with the fridge and its settings for a few days (plugged into 12V but not yet tested on 12V), I'm ready to share my findings. So far, I've confirmed that the dual temperature zone works well and appears to separate the temperatures in the left and right storage areas. I've set the temperature on the right side to -. 18°C for a while, then - It initially froze and maintained these temperatures, and they didn't seem to creep or runaway (I still need to confirm the accuracy of the temperatures with a thermometer). The temperature display tends to fluctuate by a factor of two. Its temperature maintenance stage is 3 degrees Celsius in either direction over time, which I consider acceptable for a small dual-zone fridge. The refrigerator appears to turn on for 5 minutes and then turn off for 10 minutes. When maintaining temperature, 15 minutes off (I have yet to time it to get a more accurate power consumption rate; ambient temperature is 21-23 degrees F). 22) which is to be expected and can give you an idea of the wattage of the unit's power consumption. br>br>The Alpicool hidden settings (as with other Alpicool fridges) will also work (as with other Alpicool fridges), which I've used in the past to change from ridiculous Fahrenheit to rest of world Celsius. br>br>The lack of Bluetooth connectivity is the reason for the lower star rating (it would otherwise be a solid 5 because it does its job well and is probably the best value dual zone available right now). This is disappointing, and I feel cheated by the seller/Alpicool for failing to mention that the T36 comes in a variety of versions, some of which do not have connectivity. I only discovered this after attempting to connect the Alpicool app in vain for 20 minutes following the instruction sheet trying to figure out how to pair this and eventually it wouldn't show up as a device. I then began searching online and noticed that there is now a review on someone not being able to connect to it, as well as a question directly asking about Bluetooth supported connectivity, which the seller confirms. br>br>Then I looked at the shipping box, and it appears that there are at least two versions of this fridge, a T36 and a T36 "LG" (no mention of two versions on the Alpicool website or on this sellers page). The refrigerator that was sent appears to be a lower-tier model, as it does not have the "APP" or "LG" compressors checked on the box. br>br>Unfortunately, I purchased it a long time ago (I live in Canada and ordered it through Amazon). com because there is no shipping available and I picked it up in the US this week) I believe I will be out of luck if I return it after the return deadline. Hopefully, it still works and proves to be a dependable overlanding unit in the future.
