A pro is Your drink will stay cold for a long time since the cup keeps the temperature down. My cup has only been in my hands for less than a week, yet the design is already peeling off. Only once a day have I washed it by hand. Because it was primarily for the design of the campsite that I purchased the cup, I will be returning it.
However, even though I am fond of this flask and have given it two stars. The black paint is already fading after only about a week of owning it as shown in the picture. As soon as I touch my fingertips, it comes off. My original intent was to buy another one, but I ended up changing my mind for obvious reasons. Originally my intention was to buy the book based on its tagline "Life is Better at the Campsite. " We are so disappointed that the paint is already coming off.
As soon as this tumbler popped up in my search for camping supplies, I was taken. In addition to being my favorite color, it had a camping quote on the back. In my mind, I had the idea that the quote was cut from vinyl, My understanding of what the description is not clear at all. Nevertheless, the quote is printed/stamped onto the tumbler, but unfortunately, it is easily wiped off with dry hands. It is mainly for this reason that As it contained a camping quote, I wanted to keep it in the camper. There is no longer any such company. I am convinced the quote is completely wiped away.
The tumbler itself doesn't seem to be of the quality I thought it would be. When it's normal temperature inside, I was disappointed by the length of time the ice lasted in a drink with ice. The ice evaporated A few edits
If you leave only ice in the tumbler, it will keep for at least several hours.
I don't leave a lot of reviews, but I did feel this time was appropriate. Unless you consider the color of the tumbler its only saving grace, it is not for me. There is no urge to purchase, nor a reason to discourage it.
The mechanism for the mouthpiece is not designed to accommodate arthritis or grip issues. Because my husband has just started a new job and loves camping, I got him this for a present. The yellow of the mug was his favorite color, and he needed one large enough for his morning cup. My choice of this one was based on the bright yellow color. I didn't take a picture that does it justice, because the yellow isn't as bright as in my photo. I know the resolution of my screens might have something to do with it, but I feel it's a bit more toned down. In addition to the metal cup, it has a clear lid with an open and close mechanism for the lid. It also has a handle on the side that can be put in the pocket. Because the mechanism doesn't have much grip, I wouldn't recommend it for those with hand coordination issues or arthritis because the lip of the lid is very small and hard to see to move the piece. In that regard, it's a great piece for us, and my husband is actually delighted.
The color and how it keeps drinks cold are great, but the decal is already half what it was a month ago. Hand washing this cup is my only method of cleaning. At first, when I got the item, the decal felt tacky when I held it, which was strange to me. I had no idea how to do it, but now it's a mess after four weeks. Even though it will eventually be gone, at least I will have a nice tumbler to remember it. As well, please keep in mind that the lid is not non-returnable In the event the cup falls over, it can spill.
In terms of keeping drinks hot or cold, this is a really good cup. My choice was based on the picture and words and we keep it in the camper so it doesn't get used everyday. I have only hand washed it once. I have only gone camping for four weekends so far, and already it's rubbing off. Was very disappointed that I did not choose to save my money and get a plain cup.
It takes little time for the design to wear off. I bought this cup for its design which has nearly disappeared since I purchased it. Nevertheless, it works well, and you can get another cup in any color you like for a lower price. This is not something I even use every day since I own many others. This issue does not occur with my other cups that are laser etched or painted with the design left bare stainless steel. Compared to this cup, a 4 year old cup is in better condition. The cup does its job well, but the printed design wears out nearly immediately after being applied.
It has held up well so far. As part of a collection of tumblers I bought this for my girlfriend. In addition to Yeti, Rtic, and Ozark Trail, we also have Tec. As good as those known brands, this one can easily match their ice retention. In light of its price, I am quite impressed with how nice the tumbler finish is. This is one of the reasons why I like that the bottom is stainless steel, instead of painted metal. Prevents too much abuse being placed on the finish.
