Keep in mind that this is a guesstimate, so if you're thinking about expanding your relationship, you might want to try it in a more traditional setting, such as at home or in costume at a Motel 6.
Sure. A car lighter plugs into the pump that comes with it. However, it is an air mattress that can be inflated anywhere and in any way. It's also as tough as any air mattress when it comes to camping. You can also use it to float in a pool. The size and design of truck beds (the thin area that goes over the wheel wells) are distinctive. For use outside of a truck, there are other, less expensive options - This is what you're paying for when you buy a product.

This failed after the second use due to a manufacturing defect. When we first got it, we used the air mattress for six hours. After two months of storage, we awoke to a flat bed on our next trip. It turns out that the deflation is caused by a defect near the wheel well area. After 30 days, the warranty was no longer valid. It's unbelievable because you can clearly see that this is a manufacturing flaw that only lasted one trip. It's disgraceful.
The (PPI PV202C) model is the subject of this review. For my 2017 Silverado short bed crew cab, I purchased this air mattress. The bed of the truck is 5 feet long. 5 ft. The fully inflated mattress was snug and only protruded about 2 inches from the tailgate. I could close the tailgate with ease if I really wanted to. I was worried that the mattress would be too thin, but the thickness and weight of the air mattress pleasantly surprised me. I slept on it for two nights and it did an excellent job of retaining air. The fully inflated mattress is about 12" tall when fully inflated. It's a lot more pleasant this way. Overall, I'm pleased with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone in the market for a truck bed mattress.

If you're planning on keeping your tailgate shut, you might want to look elsewhere - However, this is ideal for my requirements. br>br>The included pump, which connects to a 12v cigarette port adapter, inflates the balloon quickly enough. On the pump, there is also a deflate assist feature. br>*Tip: Keep the fill cap on the bedside rather than the cab side so you can refill it if necessary. I used it in conjunction with the Napier Sportz truck tent (link below) and it worked out great. It's perfect. br>br>Some people may find it difficult to assemble on the ground and then transfer to a truck. I'd say the initial assembly is a pain in the A**, so definitely try it out at home before using it for the first time. br>br>Will update how it holds up to use - The majority of the camping is done on the beach or in the mountains.
This mattress fits perfectly in the quad cab of my Dodge Ram 1500. It inflates and deflates quickly, and the pump has a long cord that plugs directly into the truck's power source. I ran it right through the back window, but it could easily be wrapped around the truck. The bed is unusually large. It comfortably accommodated two adults and two Boston terriers, and I would highly recommend it. My truck bed is 6'4" long, but it could easily accommodate a shorter or longer bed.
When I need to sleep, I can do so comfortably in my truck. If the black plastic insert (Air Check Valve) can be replaced, however, this appears to be a simple fix. I'll fill the mattress before going to bed, and by the time I wake up, the air has leaked out of the mattress, and I'm sleeping on the truck metal. I noticed that the beds now come with a nice carry bag, which is a good thing because mine ripped after the third or fourth use. I don't abuse my gear; I simply put it to the test.
I bought this to take with me on my most recent camping trip. It's the perfect fit for my 2015 Colorado. It was slept on by two grown men who lost very little air.
For a while now, I've been sleeping in the bed of my truck on a full-size air mattress, but I always wake up with the wheel well in my back. I've had my eye on the airbedz for about a year, but the description says it won't fit a short box F150, and I wasn't going to spend $200 on it. I decided to give it a shot anyway, and it turned out to be a huge success! It is correct. The tailgate must be lowered, but that is always the case with my truck tent. Given that this has been a frequently asked question, I've included a photo of the mattress inflated in the back of my 2012 F150 4 door short bed truck.
I've looked at these a couple of times over the years and concluded that it couldn't possibly make a difference. I've tried using double air mattresses with the bottom one partially inflated to cover the wheel wells to create the perfect setup for drive-in movies with the wife, but it just felt uneven. I've tried a few different ones that I've come across locally. Sure, it worked, but there were always issues: whenever you sank the thing, it would be oddly angled, so I gave in and bought this. I love Amazon Prime because it arrived quickly and included a pump that I have yet to use because I already have a regular plug pump that I use and don't need to add air. There was even a patch kid included in the package. In a Ram quad cab, it fits perfectly. The design solves every problem you've ever had and creates one big solid peace that is extremely comfortable with the tailgate closed and all. Then there's a little storage pack where you can toss it when you're done. Great investment, but I squandered a lot of money and time experimenting with other options.
