That is absolutely not the case. *br>It is essential to separate the hose from the rest of the equipment. My solution was to purchase an alternative brand which stored the hose inside a PVC tub measuring 4" in diameter. Once the faucet output was connected to the back of the tube, and the hose was plugged into the quick disconnect, all was ready to go I was able to connect when I needed That's a better and more convenient way to do it.
There may be a way to put a clamp on it so you can use it hands-free. I like the hose very much. Our first use of it is on the horizon, but it appears to be of high
Most of the time, it is put inside an outside shower box on an RV. However, it will fit into any 4-hole 2-hole installation if you so choose.

This dock kit was purchased so that I could add water to my trailer, which came without any My Dock-a- Trailer installation was a breeze I bought a hole saw and drilled a hole into the trailer and attached the dock to it with screws. I did have to insert spacers between the outer and inner skins In order to install the sink faucet, I bought an extra sink attachment and used the quick connect on it. My quick connect blocks off the water source so I can go back and forth between the sink and the hose without having to turn off the water.
As part of my adventure van installation, I installed a water pump and tank. When I ordered this product, I was not aware that it would allow me to keep my system pressurized while I was disconnecting the hose. The feature makes this a great device for me, and I look forward to using it in the future. A second purchase of this item will be made and I recommend it to those who are replacing their RV's outside hose system.
Ideally, the trailer would have come equipped with this feature. I would consider this to be one of the best things I have purchased so far for my trailer. This hose has a check valve on the facet side and a quick-connect valve on the hose end. Until the hose is connected, no water will come out of the faucet. You can turn the faucet on and off as you please. Moreover, there will be no leaks after the hose has been disconnected. In this manner, the hose stays full of water when you disconnect it, but will not leak when it is stored. The outdoor shower allows me to wash my dog outside without going inside. You'll love how convenient it is. You'll get to wash outside AND be able to use hot or warm.
There is a compartment shower and rinse-off hose on an older Bounder that are plain, lower quality. There is an outdoor shower on our trailer, but it is useless for most people and just isn't very pleasant. It worked like a charm when I was searching for something similar. I'm happy I found it. It was nice to have a variable spray head and the coiled hose was extremely convenient.
I mostly camp off the grid, using solar and batteries almost 90% of the time and occasionally the generator when necessary. Hunting is one of my hobbies, so I use this product to clean my harvest and to hose down my car or other items when they get I find this to be perfectly suited to my needs.
You WILL NOT be able to use this with your Fontana outside shower faucet. There is way too much length in the dura faucet for the fontana compartment and back housing to function properly. This is true even if the hose and spray handle are taken out. There is a lot of space between the dura faucet and wall. As long as you don't replace the fontana, then you have to buy a different back housing or replace the fontana with the same configuration. You should also know that the Dura doesn't come with hose extensions. By now, you probably need to buy new ones at the hardware store since your original ones are probably getting brittle. In spite of that, it's a good product. If I knew before I bought it that it wouldn't be compatible with my trailer, I would have bought another instead of Dura.
