I bought them for my trailer, which has a GVWR of 6200 pounds. They're hefty chains that should suffice for your needs.
No, the hooks do not include a locking clip.
Each chain has 1 slip hook at the end. Thank you
There's enough for two trailers, each weighing 10,000 pounds, but I think they're a little short.

My old safety chains were too short to reach the hook-ups on my truck as a result of this. These were a little longer and had a higher weight rating than my previous ones. The hooks and chains are also of excellent quality. What I like best about the hooks is that they are pin-fastened to the chains, which means that if I ever find myself in this situation again, I will only have to replace the chains, not the hooks. The hooks also have a latch, which is required in the state where I live and provides more security than hooking on chains that could come loose. These safety chains were an excellent find, and they were well worth the money!.
Adding a drop pushes the sleeve forward, shortening the existing chains. br>This chain with clasp hooks works amazingly well. Actually, this chain is much thicker and more durable than the trailer's stranded cables. br>I am extremely happy!.
These are being used as safety chains on a medium-duty utility trailer that can carry up to 2 tons of cargo. I just hope I don't have to find out if the trailer breaks loose because these fit my needs perfectly, are rated for my load, and appear to be heavy duty. I also intend to use them as a sling to remove my fifth wheel hitch from my pickup.
They're almost useless because they're so short. To make it work, I'll need to lengthen or cut/weld them. If you have the option, choose the longer option. The majority of hitches now protrude further from the back of trucks. It should be at least 48" long.
The tow chains arrived in excellent condition and met all of my expectations. They provided excellent value for money - even less expensive than buying a set of chains from Home Depot and putting them together myself! A much- They provided our crew team with peace of mind during our away regattas, as they were in desperate need of an upgrade for towing boats.
I started by pulling a stump from my yard, wrapping both chains around the base, hooking them to my 4Runner, and driving away. It wasn't even a tree; it was just a large bush. Stump did not come out the first time, and it halted my progress. I pulled a few times and kept the chains tight, but it didn't work. So I backed up and gave it a shot, and it worked after a few tries. The chains were in good condition. br>br>I figure if they can withstand that, they'll be fine as towing safety chains.
My 14-foot utility trailer will benefit greatly from these safety chains. I simply removed the extra hook from one of the ends. This is a high-quality, heavy-duty chain.
On the second use, the latches on the hooks just bent and fell off on one chain hints the review chain feels good and sturdy tho I would buy a different set if I needed more didn't try to contact customer support.
