I'm not sure what I'm saying. Your best bet is to inquire with any Ford dealer's parts department. Perhaps they have one in stock and would be willing to let you try it before you buy it. Good luck
It is only reverse threaded that I am aware of.
It most certainly does, as the dealer stated.
The only thing I know is that it will fit a Ford Escape from the year 2013.

I got stuck in mud a few months later and couldn't get out because there was no recovery hook on the boat. After much research, I decided to purchase this one. I removed the bumper plate after receiving it and discovered that it fit perfectly.
Because I live in the mountains, I'll need this in case of an emergency! It's strange that Ford didn't include this part with my SUV when I bought it. Also, newer models don't use this, so I'm curious as to what they're using instead. Because the front is all plastic, I'd hate for a tow truck driver to wreck it. This aids them by providing a focal point for them to grasp. (Ford) It would have been nice to have two connecting points for the front and then use two of these.
Anyway, I was going to have a hook welded to the frame after getting stuck in the snow last year and almost breaking every plastic piece on the bumper trying to tow it out. In my search for a solution to that problem, I came across this, which screws right into the front bumper (reverse threads, by the way) in a small port specifically designed for it. It's ridiculous that Ford doesn't provide frame access or make it clear that this is a separate purchase.
It's perfect, and I feel a lot better now that I have it. I'd rather have it and not require it than require it and not possess it. It is reverse threaded, as stated in a previous review I read (somewhere, possibly here; I'm not sure). So keep that in mind when you get yours. It arrived exactly when they said it would, and the box is small enough to store and keep out of the way when not in use.
It is a perfect fit for my Ford Escape 2015 model. That was the plan all along!.
Yes, it fits perfectly, but I was disappointed to discover that my 18 Transit Connect came without one. Because it's a backwards thread, I had no choice but to buy it. You can't just use any threaded bolt because the thread is so "wide. ".
Buy it because it's a perfect match for the 2019 Transit Connect.
In a Ford parts box, there's a solid piece. I worked on my Ford Escape from 2014 for a few hours.
