Is it possible to install this on a Toyota Tundra from 2011? I've seen a similar product that says it's not for tundra in other places. Why isn't this the case?

For my 2010 Tundra, it didn't work. The hole is not properly aligned.

How can it be removed if there is no bar across the inside base of the ball to grab onto once it has been placed upside-down in the truck bed?

That was something I didn't realize until after I had it in upside downs. There are some small holes (indentions) inside the hold on it that I inserted a small L shaped piece of metal into and pulled it out. It was a little difficult to pull because we had hauled hay in the truck and some of it had gotten stuck in the cracks.

This is a simple and inexpensive way to raise your fifth wheel trailer so that the bed rails are clear. Raising the fifth wheel gave us more room to tow bigger coolers. When hitched up to the truck, the trailer's ride was also more level due to the increased height.

As stated in the advertisement. It is important to note that this extended ball will not turn over, seat, or lock flush in the receiver. That note had gotten lost in the shuffle.
