Questions & Answers

a similar setup with a 12-inch wheel? As far as I have read, the fit is pretty snug for most people. Thanks so much! ?

Approximately 12" x 5" is the size of my camper. The leveler works well with such a size wheel and the 3" tires. For me to make it work, I do not require any kind of board spacer.

How many of these do you need?

A pair of these is used to level my 23 foot fifth As I raise each one a little at a time to keep the levelers as even as possible (3800 lbs), I put one under each tire on the low side.

You don't just use a regular jack to jack up the trailer and then put a block under the tire, right?

This may need to be checked to ensure compliance with your trailer manufacturer, but it replaces my leveling blocks, and it saves me time while still holding the tires securely in place.

If I have a double axle camping trailer that is approximately 24 feet long and weights about 4500 pounds, can I use this to raise one side of it to go over rough terrain, or do I have to buy two of them?

There is only one axle on my camper and it weighs about 2000 pounds. There seems to be a lot of traffic in the lift (I may be mistaken). It might be necessary to have one for each axle in your case. Those who love it will love it if it works for them. The process is very easy, convenient, and quick.

Selected User Reviews For BAL 28050 Light Trailer Tire Leveler

As far as the build of the product goes, it is very solid, and I don't worry about stripping any threads like some have expressed concern It is normal for me to use a Camco tri-angle Even though I have a leveler for my pop-up camper, I still have to move my trailer back and forth 10 times to make it perfectly level
5/5

In the case of pop-ups, however, it is not possible to adjust them once you have all the settings in place and just have to let them be. This leveling system makes it easy to adjust the level at any time, and the product itself is solidly constructed, so I don't have to worry about stripping any of the threads with my 1500lb dry popup trailer, as some others have mentioned. Despite its size, the only drawback may be its immense size. will have to think of something innovative to secure it to the bottom of the trailer when it is not in use so I don't have to store it inside. This has been a great product thus.

Storage is easy Pizza bags are a thing of the past! My 12" tires on the Flagstaff 206 LTD work great with this
4/5

The large steel screw that was used is not made from high-quality materials. I'm taking away a star for this. The possibility of its stripping out at some point seems likely. I see that many people recommend pizza bags as storage, but I have found what is the best location for my pop up that doesn't require any interior storage space in the camper or In an attempt to store it underneath on the frame, I tried to find an easy way to do so, but couldn't find a good solution. As I looked back at the camper, I wondered if there was enough room behind the spare tire? You got it. There It is actually a perfect fit for my camper model. As soon as I removed the screw and lug, I just slid the rest of the Bal leveler behind the spare tire. The legs of the leveler fit perfectly on the frame rail (bumper) and the tire pads nicely hug the spare tire, keeping it firmly positioned. As a precaution to avoid scratching the paint on the campers, I wrapped an old bicycle tire tube around the top of the legs. This increased the snugness even further Use something between your leveler and camper - my word is that will work). As long as you don't tie it down, it shouldn't fall off the back of the bike as long as you're not on a washboard road it's tight enough so you don't need to tie it down if you don't want to. In order to increase security, I hooked a small bungee cord into the holes where the screw lugs were located, covered the spare tire bracket with it, then hooked it back into the lug hole on the leveler bracket. In order to hook the device up, you have to squeeze your hands in there, but if you have smaller hands, it's not impossible. There is only one thing left for you to do now throw your screw and lug into a freezer bag or some other container, and toss it in your camper. That's it!.

When I want to quickly set up an RV, I find it very useful
5/5

The Flagstaff Forrest River 206LTD pop up camper will fit perfectly in this. Despite its light weight (1,550lbs unloaded), it is a large RV. With my 12 inch radial tires, this fits perfectly. There are no pinch marks or tire deformations. The wood blocks or leveling blocks definitely aren't cheap, so if you're comfortable with wood blocks or leveling blocks you probably won't need to change what you're already The setup is so painless I almost feel like it's worth it just for the time savings. Even so, I always bring leveling blocks with me just in case this fails during the

There was no internet for us to set up in this past week. The temperature was below 60 degrees, it rained, and it was After getting the trailer level in almost no time, all of the participants were able to get out of the elements within minutes of getting on the road. As soon as I can, I will try to cover an insulation piece with reflective tape made out of black foam pipe insulation. As a result, the threads are protected while the worm gear is in use or in storage, and it will also keep grease off all parts. The reflective tape will make it stand out at night so nobody walks into it when it is set up at the campsite. The rain / splash guard looks good when it's set up at camp. The following suggestions are provided Don't be a snob and get the pizza bag. Everything stays clean when it's there. Before and after each use, if there has been precipitation in between, I grease the threads with a small amount of lithium grease. As I tried it in the garage, I broke the wrench that comes with it because it seems defective. To fit a 3/4-inch socket wrench, I now use a socket wrench with a 3/4-inch You should have a socket with you as a backup if you plan to use the wrench. It is a good idea to test your trailer before a A brief update The BAL support department was notified about the defective wrench, and I left a message on their answering machine. It was nice to talk with a woman who was very friendly when I received a call back. I talked briefly with her about the problem with the wrench, and she has agreed to send I had a wonderful experience with customer support!.

I was looking for this sooner, why couldn't I find it? In 2018, I purchased a Jayco Jay Feather 7, a 19 foot travel trailer with bunkhouse with a single axle (14 inch tires)
5/5

Wow! This thing is amazing! The trailer usually requires me to level it for about 20 minutes. Put down blocks, then go back on them, check the level, then add more, and continue until the level has been reached. It took me 30 seconds to level my trailer with this method! This is the kind of thing we wish we had when we were camping. As for the pizza bag, we did get it and it fit directly over the leveler. Moreover, if you have children, you may wish to cut a pool noodle that will slip over the bolt. It will save somebody's I really enjoyed using this product, and the price was worth it! *Edit
As time goes on, this thing only gets I typically level the trailer at a level that serves the purpose. Our bathroom door begins to rub as the trailer settles after a few days. As a result, I raised the stabilizer jacks, used my BAL trailer leveler to raise the trailer another inch, and it looked perfect! These are essential if you have either a twin axle or single axle light camper! This leveling device is perfect for both small and large adjustments.

A pop-up shop is something you need if you own one Camping is a great idea, you should definitely do it
5/5

A pop-up shop is something you need if you own one If you're an up camper, you'll definitely want this device. The BAL leveler is better than any other single-axis leveling device available today In this case, a wheel leveler is required. There is no way I will ever use leveling blocks Especially important to note is the screw part should be greased with heavy grease to protect it from getting damaged by debris. It is much less messy to utilize heavy grease instead of conventional light lubricating oils. Lucas X-Eyes is our software of choice There is a lot of grease involved. Whenever you store a screw assembly, make sure to cover it with something to prevent the grease from coming into contact with everything. The pipe insulators we use have a 7/8" diameter. As a final point, this all fits perfectly inside a 20x20 Winco Put the bag in the car. It will be all worth it in the end!.
