Questions & Answers

What country do they come from?

Greensboro, North Carolina is a city in the state of North Carolina.

Why is it so expensive to buy a piece of plastic?

It was well worth the money! And I didn't think they were too pricey.

Can tongue jacks be made with these? According to the manufacturer of my RV, my hitch weight is 884 lbs. ?

Yes, my tongue weight is 630 lbs, and I believe it can handle up to 5000 lbs, so you're well within the limits. I love mine.

Will the tongue load be supported if I stack two pieces?

These aren't designed to be stacked, in my opinion. They are used under a 5th wheel landing gear that weighs around 3000 pounds. They were divided into two groups.

They're actually a lot more powerful than they appear
5/5

Very visible and bright. These yellow support blocks will attract single women from miles away, and they will want to spend the night at your campsite.

These are incredible, and they're on par with, if not better than, Anderson's creations
5/5

These are ideal for our fifth wheel or front landing gear. They're light and simple to transport. We were able to get rid of a lot of stacking blocks from our storage space. We don't require anything else at this time. They're sturdy and can handle our 10,000-pound fifth wheel with ease. We were planning on purchasing Anderson buckets, but these were significantly less expensive and appeared to do the same job. We're so glad we ended up with these!.

WHY IS THERE SUCH A LARGE GAP? It's lighter and cleaner than wood, but there's a huge gap / hole in the middle, right where your trailer foot would go
3/5

Also, I despise how slick the surface is. My trailer slipped off of it when it wasn't well chocked, which was a minor issue. On top of that, I put an antiskid mat made of wood. It does, however, have a heavy-duty feel to it.

Vortex Toy Hauler 3219VXL (2019) These are the jacks I use for my front and rear stabilizers
5/5

Toy hauler weighing 16,500 lbs. I cut out 4x4 plywood squares to place on top of the support and used spray bedliner to coat the tops of the jack supports and plywood for added grip on rock/gravel, sand, and hardpack dirt.

This prevents you from extending your stabilizers too far
5/5

You might be surprised to learn that your RV's stabilizers can be over-extended. It appears that you can. When I needed my stabilizers repaired under warranty, I was told that extending them too far puts them under too much stress when walking around the trailer or when the trailer is blown around by the wind, as well as exposing them to moisture and rust. Like I really believe that! However, I have discovered that the stabilizers are easier to retract after using these blocks, so there may be a good reason to use them. Regardless, I like them because they are light, easy to use, and stack for easy storage.

Very strong
5/5

Simple to work with. There's plenty of heft to it. When in use, this item cannot be stacked. They're very stackable for storage, and they're light enough that a 5-year-old can put them out and gather them. She delights in assisting others. (= I slid them under our toy hauler's stabilizer jacks (not a lot of weight). ) As well as beneath the tongue jack's small, round foot. (It's a bit of a hulk. ) ) It's not a problem in the least. Flexion, deflection, and deformation are not possible. Overall, it's a big house. It provides a significant increase in height.
Edit: Because they are so useful and convenient, I bought five more for my parents to have a set.

Construction Materials That Aren't as Good as They Should Be
3/5

Shortening the extension of the stabilizer rams was a great idea, but the material wasn't strong enough to support my 29' Class A Motorhome. Before I replaced them with stacked concrete pavers, they were distorting and partially collapsing. I recommend using thicker, more durable materials by the manufacturer.
