Questions & Answers

Is there a way to remove the flagline footplate from the Husky 30780 5000 lbs A-frame crane How do I deal with wind on the frame top trailer jack?

You can see it's 9 on the de mentions. The size of the image is 9" x 5". Nine inches by two inches With "the 2", it is referring to the "post" that has been accepted. By removing the plate from your unit and measuring it, you can find out how wide your post is.

The diameter of the inside and outside of the post is what?

It has a diameter of 5 centimeters on the inside. The outside temperature is about 5 degrees centigrade. I am 75 cm tall. AFAIK, that is why it didn't work with my trailer, because the inches did not round off. However, when I measured in metric, it was dead on 5cm inside. Perhaps that is why it did not There was almost a fit, but not quite and I am certain the trailer was manufactured in U.S. measurements. The letter S. One inch. That's too bad, it's a rather neat-looking little Jackfoot. In order to get a lower clearance from a camp trailer, I was using it with it. This set is really meant to be used with a utility trailer and would work better with one.

This is a great accessory
4/5

We found out after the fact that the original 2000 pound jack on our cargo trailer was missing When the lower shaft bottomed out and rounded off after leaving a service station, it was bent and ovoid. There is a positive side to this as well. There is now a 5000 lb "he man" that can operate the jack crank without requiring a he man to rotate. The Fulton foot plate has also been added. With Fulton foot plates, you can attach or remove the plate with an attachment pin. In order to attach to the plate, it is bored over the relatively narrower dimension. foot plate of the jack fits cross-wise since it is bored from front to back. In my opinion, I would have preferred that the plate be bored across the widest dimension, making it better suited for skid plates. Only because of this do I give the score a 4 I rated it five stars. In Fulton's case, however, they may have found that their orientation works best.

The retainer/attachment cup was fully welded around to the footplate and then This causes the water to be retained. Approximately a quarter-inch of water can be held in the foot plate's cupped edges on all four sides. There were 2 drain holes that I chose to bore The attachment cup has a drain hole in the middle of the plate Another hole was drilled into the curvature of the edge of the Curvature was chosen to ensure better drainage of the plate in contact with the This plate is mild steel, which bores easily. As so many posters have suggested, this plate was painted afterward. It will no longer be possible to hold water in either the footplate or the cup. Adding a wood block to the foot plate will not fix the issue of it rubbing on a concrete surface (until the rust starts). On the other hand, for concrete, asphalt, and dirt, a footing surface with greater area should be considered. It is possible you will not be able to totally wean yourself off of If a tire change is necessary on the road, the blocks might prove useful.

Reduced the risk of a major accident

Our first trip with a small travel trailer was a few days ago after installing this. Purchased this because it looked better than the post only that came with our trailer for soft ground. We had the trailer uncoupled at 50 mph on the highway after the third time we hitched up because the ball was not seated properly! When the brakes failed, it was as if the gods were smiling on us Icrossed ) worked well, but this foot REALLY came through for us! Nothing, not even the truck or trailer, was damaged by it sliding along the pavement. Luckily for us, we were in a good position. Do a double check on your hook-up Don't miss out on this amazing It's better to be safe than sorry!.

The foot is on the right track

The jack foot is well done. There is not much to report yet so we will need to wait and see how long it takes to corrode / oxidize.

This is a nice product and it saves your hollow jack stand
5/5

I bought one for my jack stand. My friend and I recently bought a craigslist trailer with a hollow jack tube that had begun to sink in the ground. We are not sure if it came with a jack tube from the factory, but it was long gone. A clip was included so it could be locked in place. The plate could be slid right on. The bag looks very nice and has held up well. If you need to roll it up, it tucks up nicely. When I occasionally slide my trailer's front aft to hitch it on to my car, this plate does the trick.

I think it's a fantastic addition
5/5

The bulldog jack has been enhanced in a super way. It was suggested by others that I drill two small holes in it in order to prevent water from settling on it and turning rusty. The book is highly recommended.
