First and foremost, these are stunning covers. A nice heavy vynyl with a nice black edge trim detail. They have a very professional appearance. However, the recommended size for my tire size is a little too tight. 205/75r14 is the tire size I have. When they're inflated to 50 psi, they're exactly 26 inches in diameter. So I bought a size that said it would fit up to a size 26. The diameter is 5 inches. I figured based on the reviews and questions that I had a 50% chance that they would fit correctly, even though my gut said go with the next size. They arrived. While they fit, they are extremely tight and difficult to put on. That's fine because they'll probably stretch over time, but they're also about 3 inches too short on the tire and don't reach the ground, so they don't protect the entire tire. I should have trusted my instincts and ordered the next size, but the description clearly stated sizes. I got covers that were too small because I bought them based on the description. We've placed an order for the next available size. Once the larger size arrives and is confirmed to fit, the too small size will be sent back. However, if you're nearing the size limit, it appears that the best option is to go up a size.

- br>It's time to make some changes. Today, I received the larger size (model 2) in the mail. On the 205 75r 14 tires, they slide on easily and reach the ground completely. It's possible that it's a tad too loose, but it's preferable to being too tight and small. The way they appear is shown in the image. In my garage, it's very cold. I'm confident that the summer heat will smooth them out. However, they are far more comfortable to wear than the smaller ones, which were too tight and short, and we will see how they hold up over time.

They arrived on time, and they did not disappoint! br>br>Because I had never purchased tire covers before, I had nothing to compare them to. These covers fit perfectly over my set of four standard 225/75/15 trailer tires, which I ordered in the 29" size. They are a little on the large side, but I don't mind because it makes them easier to get on and off. My previous set of trailer tires had never been covered, and despite lasting many years, they began to show signs of failure (cracking, bruises, tire rot, etc. ) before the tread wore out. In addition, the climate here is extremely hot and dry, which has taken a toll on the old tires. I wanted to protect them this time because I splurged on higher quality/load rating tires. I can't speak to their long-term durability because I only installed them last night, but I expect them to outlast the tires. The covers are waterproof on the outside and soft on the inside. I have the impression that I am destroying my tires. br>br>Application: br>br>Usage: br>br>Usage: br>br>U br>These are designed to slip over the wheels (elastic on the back around the wheel bearings) and be tied down in the back with a rope string. (See 3rd photo) Rather than a zipper, Velcro, or something else, that process was a little too time consuming. To reach around the trailer, I had to get down on my knees and throw the strings under it. If I need to get my trailer quickly, I may have to leave the strings off and rely on the elasticity of the backs to keep them in place. I don't see why they'd ever come off unless there are strong winds or a storm. Is it possible that it will be kept for a long time? If that's the case, then sure, tie them up. br>br>In general- I'm very pleased with this purchase, and for less than $40, I'll be able to get years more use out of it. These covers were of excellent quality, and as I previously stated, I feel as if I'm spoiling rubber tires by using them. They would have ripped right out if I had pulled hard enough. I used gel superglue on the outside piece of each grommet, then on the inside piece, and pressed them together firmly; they appear to be strong enough after drying. These should not be made with snap-together grommets. Metal grommets would have been far superior and would have earned the product a five-star rating. Nice bag for storing things. On the two bungees I'm not using right now, I put them in a small plastic container for easy access.

I had a 14" wheeled travel trailer for five years, and when I wasn't using it, I covered the wheels. There hasn't been a single case of dry rot due to the harsh Arizona sun in those five years. br>br>I was so pleased with them that I purchased the same ones when I purchased another travel trailer with 15" wheels. The vinyl's lining material appears to be much thinner this time than it was previously. BUT - I'm hoping for good service from these 15" ones based on their previous performance.

van conversion done to perfection The four ties were tossed out. down strings (difficult to tie without getting dirty) and four 24" plastic hooks bungee cords (18" is too long and 12" is too short). The horrible plastic rings where the ropes tie to are why I deducted one star. They disintegrated the first time they were used. After removing the covers from the tires, I spent some time looking for them in my front yard (lawn area). The metal rings on those $2 tarps are ten times better than these plastic rings, so I glued them back together and it's fine now. Don't get me wrong: these are high-quality tire covers for vehicles that are rarely used and can't fit in your garage. Oh, and model 3's size (29"-32") is a bit unusual. On my 235/75/15 tires, 75") is a little big; If I bought model 2 (26), however, it would be difficult to put them on. 75"- 29"). So, if your tires are 29 inches in diameter, go with the Model 3.
