A simple replacement of the original equipment manufacturer

As soon as I purchased my used camper, I noticed that the factory outlet housing had some water damage. Though it's the same product, I have no idea whether or not the intrusion was caused by a defect in the product, or simply poor maintenance by the previous owner. In any case, since water and electricity go well together in an RV setting, I decided to replace it with a new Getting it up and running was easy. My original cigarette lighter was pulled off the side of the camper with four screws. I then removed the three wires and wired up the new one. Lastly, I screwed it back to the side of the camper with a few new noncorrosive screws, and viola, it's I would guess that the total installation took about 5 minutes, and it worked very well on our next two.
