If a Shurflow pump is being used, it needs a switch that can handle 15A. There is a 10A limit on this pump switch @12v, which is a real pity. Switches that are solid
When you operate the switch, you see a spike across the contact. In an RV's fuse panel, most of the fuses are fast acting/fast blowing.
A good old rocker switch. It works great, smooth and nice.

The OEM Grand Design switches can be replaced by this identical counterpart. At the dealer, the dealer installed a fan in the bedroom of my new RV. The fans were powered by a switch light, and the switch light was controlled by a switch, so the fan was only on when the switch light was on Hence, I bought two of these and connected them to each light so that I could control the light according to my mood. Following the creation of the holes and mounting of the devices, they went in quickly. The switches on this page do not light up. Because they were going to be installed in the bedroom, I didn't want them. In my opinion, these were a little on the pricey side for $10 each, but they seem to be pretty good. These would be great to use if you need a 12v switch for an RV.
Similarly, there is a raised square area on the back of the switch which needs to be taken into account. If you want the switch to mount flush, you have to cut a square recess first.
The switch doesn't come with any, so you will need to add those to your wiring. As I continued to use the switch, I noticed that it was blowing the circuit every time. In addition to this, the person on the other end of the camper was also This is not my wiring since I did a direct connect, so it works fine. This is not worth the money, so I would not recommend it.
Everything goes according to plan. These match the originals in my Winnebago Access 29T from 2007. I wish I had been able to score the white lettering into the switch description as well as the originals.
Using a label maker just doesn't look as good as the originals. The face plate also had a hole drilled in one corner to attach a red LED that emits light when the circuit is operating. From this listing, you can get LED. This is *br.
Because the plastic around the terminal started to melt and separate as I was soldering a wire to the terminal, I took one point off. There was no melting of my solder before the plastic melted! Such a thin piece of plastic shouldn't melt so quickly. I was then unable to use it. If I can't fix it, I'll have to take it apart and see what I can do.
There was a problem with the camper's switch. It turns out that the dealer cost for the same item was 3x higher than the replacement. I bought a few extras just in case, but so far everything seems to be working as it should.
I added a small light under the steps of my travel trailer and ordered this switch to go with it. It does need a decent sized square to be cut out (see photos) so that it mounts flush. Other users have noted that it does not mount totally flush. It has a great look and I am happy with the switch!.
The light over our camper van's bed required an on/off switch, so my wife purchased one around the same time. I really like this switch, it was simple to install and works well. You must drill a hole underneath the surface for the wires and the switch's back to be visible. The switch sits on the surface but requires a hole for the wires.
