It may have awoken for my 2002 Sierra 2500HD, but I'm not sure.

It took some time and lubricant, but the fit was satisfactory. The answer was no, according to the fit marker. However, it was compatible with my 1999 GMC Sierra 1500 pickup truck.

My 2005 Chevy Silverado had this installed. It's a direct replacement part that took about ten minutes to install without the use of any tools. I was able to slip it right on over the shifter knob by using dish soap. With a little tinkering, it was able to settle into place.

It was a perfect fit for my 2002 Chevy Suburban, and the installation took about 20 minutes. br>After removing the plastic from the steering column housing, disconnect the shifter and drive/overdrive levers. drive wire (this can be a bit of a pain). Then remove your old one and replace it with the new one.

On my Avalanche, it was a breeze to install

It was a perfect fit for my 2002 Avalanche. All the way down, tilt the column. Simply pull apart the area of the column cover near the shifter with your fingers. You don't have to remove the shifter. Apply dish soap to the inside of the boot and slide it over the shifter. Then, from the inside out, clean off the soap with the boot. The part that goes on top should be placed there. To gain access, it might be easier to remove the dash bezel. Simply pull yourself in the direction you want to go. For the entire process, there were no tools at all. Deal is for ten minutes.
