This fix is for 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 1500s. The only complaint was that the system did not include

Can you tell me how many transmission mounts I need for a 1988 GMC K3500?

There is one. It is not a product I would recommend. I tried it on my 2005 GMC 2500 HD and it caused a very bad shudder when decelerating. There is too much hardness in the rubber on these China parts.

Do you think this will fit on a Chevy Avalanche ?

It will fit if it has an automatic transmission

Selected User Reviews For DEA A2638 Transmission Mount

There are a lot of mounting holes that are not positioned In the photo, you can see that the transmission bolt holes are not evenly spaced
4/5

To make installation as easy as possible, I used a step drill to open both holes. This issue has been reported by other users as well. An S10 T5 NWC 5 speed transmission is mounted on this mount.

I installed it on a 2005 Suburban 2500 without any issue
5/5

It broke when the old mount was removed because the studs broke. There were 35 dollars to be spent at local parts stores on There seemed to be a lot of craftsmanship behind this mount, as well as it fitting.

Using this one instead of the OEM
5/5

So far, it seems to be working. Although it takes up the vibes the old one was producing well, I have only had it for a thousand miles or so. It is recommended.

This is a warning
3/5

Since I was having the transfer case in my 2005 GMC 2500HD apart, I figured I would replace the transmission mount while I was at it. Rubber in this part is so hard that it caused a vibration starting at 40 mph and going up My truck was vibrating so much that I thought it was going to fall apart even though I slowed down from 60 to 50. I put the old mount back in and it is now as The fault does not lie with the truck.
