This was like $7, so I ordered it. A T176 transmission was installed in my son's 81 CJ7 when he swapped the transmission. Oil soaked and slightly soft, his old mount looked quite worn out. Unlike the old one, this one has holes and uses bolts, but the old one had studs and used nuts. Could this one have better ground clearance than the old one? For the price, it looks like it should be sufficient. Although it is less than half as thick as the original, it does appear to be a good alternative. I liked how it fit.
We got it done Repair on the east side.
The mount I used on my 1966 impala was a special order part awaiting delivery at the parts store it would have taken me a week to get online had I waited a few days.
This product was purchased for the 700r4 and so far it has performed as expected. The mount looks exactly the same as the old one. We will find out in time.
I've had no problems with the installation and the software is working fine so far. It seems to offer a good quality and saved a bit of money as well. It will take some time to see what happens.
It did not come with any hardware, but I'm sure I can find some extra bolts in my workshop. For under $5, this is a great deal.
I put it in my 400 turbo and it worked fine.
