It's a RAM 3500 5, and I'd like to know about the sensors. What is the probability of these transmissions working with a 9-speed?

Within the Dodge family of trucks, there are 3 or 4 transmissions. A few of these are likely to be effective, but not all of them. I could not determine which transmission you have based on the information you gave me, but I know they work in the A518 / 46re transmissions, but I don't know anything about the others without more information.

The part would fit on a 1999 Is it a 9L or an 8L?

In the event that you have a 518 and 46re transmission, these will work for you, as for the others I'm uncertain.

Purchasing online cost less than half the price you would pay in a retail store. The two appear to be exact matches. Although these are more recent, the transmission still has the same issue. I am unsure if they work or not. This is likely an issue with the hardware between the transistors and the CPU, or something with the CPU.
