I could tell you that it would, but I would recommend using their throttle cable and brackets so it works perfectly and looks good as well.
It's quite likely that it will happen. It is necessary to cut back the excess braided line for a 904 when you install it. I believe you should be fine as long as the 999 kickdown has the same style

My sister's '66 Valiant /6 drivetrain required this linkage to be replaced after upgrading to a supercharger. It had been 40+ years since she last had it replaced The carb is a six-barrel model with two barrels. So your right foot knows when you sign off, as there is a much better connection between your foot and the transmission. I'm doing well. The gear looks great and is well made. Similarly, I also used Lokar's throttle linkage purchased elsewhere and it is fantastic, as well.
There are four Edelbrock carburetors and a nine-speed transmission with a sure gap intake. A friend of mine bought the throttle cable and the kickdown cable and I am thrilled with.
This was used to replace missing linkage on a postal jeep and it worked well.
Adding an extra hole to the transmission level is required by Mopar.
It is a snap to install and easy to set up.
The kickdown kit worked great and looks great.
Installing the hose is straight forward and it can be easily adjusted.
I was very satisfied with it.
