If I were you, I would go to a site like BMWfest It is very specific which parts fit and which do not fit on our 7 series BMW. You want to make sure that you learn to tell the difference between the two solenoids in this kit, it is very common to put the wrong one in the wrong location You will not get the same results making both of them new, so remove just one from the car and replace it before taking the other one out to change it. There are many mechanics who put these into the wrong bore and have to pull the pan a second time to fit them in correctly. With this transmission, it is crucial that the fluid level is correct for the solenoids to function properly, and if you aren't sure how to do that, don't try swapping them until the fluid level is correct and check if you are still experiencing issues. For a 1999, I bought these. I was able to get them in quickly and on time. As a result, I don't know if they were good or not. Unfortunately, my problems were much more serious than these.
My 1997 528i had them and they worked. I'm not sure you would have to open it up and match them up, but they were fine in my car. My blessing came at the right time. Perhaps you should check the transmission and see if it is the GMC. Moreover, you should watch Nathan's garage channel to see how the E39 transmission works. You will be able to tell which one goes in which slot in the transmission valve body by checking the crimped ears inside the housing of each one. There have been instances where mechanics have made them for in the wrong holes, and you have to tear into the job again. They may also lie and tell you you need a new transmission because the new solenoids did not The car ran like new when I installed these in my 4l30e and drained the transmission, but did not flush it. I had good shifts and there was no hanging going into fourth.
I had shift hang ups and slipping, and these were the solenoids I ended up using. I went to the local O'Reilly's to get a new main pan gasket and filter, then I started digging Thanks to these solenoids, I no longer have any shifting issues and my transmission is running smoothly.
The adapters work well with my 2001 Honda Passport. They are compatible and fit properly. It is the 4L30E transmission that I have. In this truck, four wheels are involved.
I had a 2002 Isuzu Rodeo with a 4L30E transmission and it worked wonderfully.
I like the product.
This was bought in September of 2020 and today after I replaced the two units, it is still throwing a code for the A solenoid I don't know if I just got a bad part but I know A solenoid is not working.
It fits as well as the originals and works perfectly.
My problem has been resolved.
