Driving when I noticed my CEL came on, I brought it to Autozone and they ran the code. It threw an error regarding the pressure switch for the second clutch transmission fluid. It was symptomatic of the dreaded honda flashing "D" in third gear as well as a burning smell and the car would not shift into third. This part was available on Amazon, and I ordered it for one day delivery. The installation is a bit difficult due to the difficulty of removing the air filter box. You can find videos on YouTube that show you where the switch is located. My car started a few minutes after I plugged it in and I put it together This is incredible!.
It was a problem that lasted for about seven months on my Honda stream RSZ RN6 model from 2007. It was a good decision to get a scan. Sensor or switch "A" of shift fluid pressure is high in the transmission fluid pressure code P0843. Honestly, I was not expecting that this switch would fix everything.
When you take the air box assembly apart, it's easy to get to. My other one is having a problem, so I'm thinking of purchasing this one to go with it!.
The flashing D light became fixed the moment the new one was installed.
Using the code P0843 on a 2009 Honda Civic, I was able to fix the issue. It's an easy installation that takes 30 minutes.
0847. My 8th Gen Civic was cleared of the P0847 error with this product. If you know which one you are replacing, it is not difficult to install. There is an increase in the length of the socket.
I recommend you do not purchase.
