I have created this set twice now. The last set I bought was terrible, so I hoped this one would be more effective. There was no difference between them even though I thought they were from different manufacturers. One of the sets is already exhibiting signs of wear after just 1,000 The second set will tell us how things turned out. The holes are not suited to a Jeep XJ AW4 transmission. The hole has to be enlarged on one side to get the bolt to fit through. There is a burning sensation in the buttocks. I don't see any problem with the holes on OD solenoids.
As soon as I got out of the driveway the solenoids failed, so I checked with an Ohm meter and they were way out of specification. I should have paid a bit more for the better ones which could have saved me a lot of wasted time and money.
As a pro The solenoid worked So far I've traveled 200 miles with my four-wheel drive. You can read more about them at their website. The con is We will have to do it again Drill holes in the brackets for the solenoids so they can be fitted to the transmission valve bodies.
One month was all these selonids would last. It had to be replaced. Buying is not a good idea.
In comparison with the originals that I removed from my 1995 Toyota Hilux Surf diesel, these solenoids are physically smaller. As a result, the bracket has aligned perfectly and fits perfectly. As expected, they are working. Thus far, not a single complaint has been voiced.
I bought these for my 93 4runner, they are a very economical and quality option if you don't want to spend the 160 bucks EACH that Toyota charges. They fit almost perfectly that only needed a bit of filing on one bracket, otherwise they fit and work great.
The 92 4runner is perfect for this shoe. Compared to stock, they are much smaller. now, things are going well for them. They were a little larger than I expected. I drove them for a long time and then ran an 8 mile trail. There is a great deal.
It works great I haven't encountered any problems.
