There is only one seal.
I'm not sure if this seal can be used to replace the variable valve timing solenoid across all brands. We used it for the camshaft, so it's appropriate.

4 Turbo. Intake and exhaust camshaft actuator seals on my 2011 Cruze Eco 1 were replaced with an exact OE replacement seal. 4 Turbo. My oil leak at the actuators' edges was repaired. Replacement of both seals takes about 30 minutes in total. A flat head screwdriver, an E10 socket, and a basic ratchet set are all that is required. The cruze bolts must be torqued to 71 in-lbs.
Replacement is simple, and if you need help, go to Cruzetalk and type in cam position sensor seals or something similar. Torque is important on this part, so don't overdo it, and an inch pound torque wrench is highly recommended.
4L works in the same way as the original. Chevrolet Cruze 1. 4L Actuator for Camshaft Position o- ring. This works exactly like the original, and after a few weeks of use, there are no more oil leaks.
With these new Genuine GM seals, the total number of seals is now four. It took me about 15 minutes to complete this simple DIY project. The older seals were brittle and hard. After installing these, there will be no more oil leaks.
It appears to be in good condition. Everything went smoothly with the installation. After a few months, there were no leaks. I'm confident they'll last the engine's lifetime.
4L turbo. When I did a turbo pressure test, I noticed oil leaking around the VVT covers. With 155k miles on the clock, it seemed like it was time to replace the gaskets. The leak has been stopped, and it didn't cost much. It's also very accessible.
