No, one of the two seals is inside the distributor, and the oring is on the shaft. In addition, the OEM one will be thicker than these when you remove it. I've used them before and they haven't leaked yet. Just keep an eye out for the differences in design.
One o- a ring and a seal
Mmm . I must admit that I have a strong desire to learn more. I was fortunate enough to be given one. I'm willing to take a chance and rebuild it if necessary.

The O- The ring is too thin for a Hitachi distributor and isn't the right size. The inner seals are divided into two types: one for TEC and the other (thicker) for Hitachi distributors. If your distributor is Hitachi (the name is on the cap), you'll need thicker O-rings. If you don't use a ring, it'll most likely leak. Hitachi distributors can use FelPro part 72416.
This was purchased for a Honda accord lx from the year 2002. It was suggested by Amazon that it would go well with my vehicle. It's possible that it wasn't your fault; it just didn't fit. The o ring was too thin, about half the thickness I required to match the OEM o ring. Thank you for your efforts; however, please try to fix that o ring; it has significantly slowed down my project.
I put in the O- The ring and grommet were installed without difficulty, but the oil leakage worsened. It was discovered that the O- When compared to the original ring, it is far too thin. Money and time have been squandered.
Now I just need to replace the old wires with new ones. I like how they gave me two different seals and instructions on how to do it. It was possible that it would have taken me an hour. However, I felt compelled to clean it thoroughly and give it a fresh appearance.
On my 1999 Honda Accord, the fitment was perfect. 3L was a good choice. The quality of the product appears to be good. br>br>Purchase a decent set of punches to remove the pin from the shaft's end. br>br>Where the old seal used to be on my Hitatchi distributor shaft, a groove had worn into it. It will take time to see if it seals properly or if the shaft is worn out. It's not the seal set's fault; it's simply wear after 244K miles.
I was able to avoid purchasing a new distributor assembly, which saved me some money.
it was a success It worked out perfectly.
Fit perfectly on my 1994 Honda Accord, stopped the oil leak, and saved me a lot of money from mechanics who overcharged me.
