Very good quality, and a must-have for newer vehicles with a trailer wiring plug that is located a long way from the hitch. This adapter is compatible with all 5 pin and most 4 pin applications. I have a 2008 Ram with a 7-pin outlet all the way up near the license plate, which makes the non-standard outlet non-standard. Extended adapters aren't compatible with most trailers because the wiring rarely extends beyond 6 inches. The trailer hitch extends 8" beyond it.
I believe this will last for a long time.
I haven't tried it with my trailer yet, but I am confident that it will work. The price is reasonable.
Perfect for switching from a flat 5 pin connector to a 7 pin connector on my trailer.
It's quite effective. However, this is to tap into a 7-way / backup system, similar to the surge brakes on my boat trailer.
This trailer light adapter does exactly what it says it will, and all of my trailer lights turned on right away. The car connection is a little tight, but with continued use, it should loosen up.
Everything went smoothly. Many people will need these converters/extensions for their boats and trailers now that the connection is up around the license plate instead of under the bumper on newer trucks. The cable is of excellent quality.
