I had to do some additional cleanup because seeping brake fluid had lifted the plating around the sight glass on the chromed master cylinder. Because I hadn't completely cleaned the burrs off the master cylinder on the first attempt, I destroyed one new sight glass. The second attempt, on the other hand, went off without a hitch. You must ensure that the new sight glass is inserted into the hold at an exact angle.
