I cannot use this application because it is too long

Cables like this are not replacements for cables like this. As expected, all the bolts and clips snap into place perfectly, but the cable is too long when the bolts are tightened to the maximum. In spite of buying two of these, I never installed one until the return window for the first one ended. My TV cable is basically useless now that I have two of them. Replaced my old one with a new one. It is recommended that you stick with AC Delco if you want easy installation.

The transmission is for a 1983 Chevy C10 with a My 1980 Chevrolet C10 was outfitted with a 700r4 transmission and a 1406 Elderbrock carburetor, and the kit worked perfectly

My 1987 GMC S15 with a 2 lb. gasoline engine worked perfect with the cable. It is made up of 8L and 8Q. This transmission has a 700R4 gear ratio. I thought it was of good quality and was the right length for my purposes.

Since the website stated they fitted 1986 Pontiac Firebirds they didn't fit mine. I like to exchange them for a longer one initially and I ordered two of them when I only needed one.
