The warranty appears to be 30 days long. Around that time, my 1/2" broke, but I didn't look into it until day 40 or so. If you work in industrial maintenance, I recommend trying a different, possibly more rugged brand.

Okay, I knew the outside diameter was big from the reviews, but I had no idea how big! br>br>I'm making a comparison to the much more expensive SK and Proto, but here are the figures: SK 34990 SK 34990 SK 34990 SK 34990 SK 34990 SK 34990 SK 34990 SK 34990 SK 34990 The Lexivon has a length of 257" while the Lexion has a length of 1. The bottom of the socket mechanism ball is usually pushed against by a spring in pinless designs. This mechanism is made up of a single piece with a rounded bottom that rotates on a spring. After doing a lot of research, I discovered that the spring is usually the first item to fail because it wears out and gets hung up where the pin goes through the ball, preventing rotation. This, it turns out, is a common occurrence. Ironically, when I tried a Husky unit, the spring jammed after only 5 minutes of use. Although this is obviously not typical of most brands, it nonetheless demonstrates a design flaw. The Lexivon socket/ball mechanism, on the other hand, is two-piece, with virtually no chance of the spring wearing out or jamming the rotation. Consider a ball that is convex on one side and concave on the other. The spring and the socket mechanism ball are separated by this ball. The socket mechanism's ball rides on the ball's concave mechanism, while the spring pushes on the convex side to keep everything in place. The Lexivon's ball-to-ball design allows for a much smoother operation than the others' ball-to-spring design. br>br>I put the Lexivon through its paces at 450 foot-pounds of torque. lbs. It appeared to be in perfect condition after my impact. Higher torque ratings, on the other hand, may yield different outcomes. Maybe one day I'll meet up with a friend who has a more powerful impact gun and we'll do some more testing. If these companies could torque rate their impact sockets and other impact accessories, that would be great. br>br>They come with a lifetime warranty, which Lexivon has a reputation for honoring. br>br>Because of the high quality, I expect them to last for many years. kd kd kd kd kd kd kd kd kd k.
So far, no Joint Swivel Socket has lasted more than a few uses in my experience. Even the ones I buy in stores, like this one, are a waste of money. Don't waste your money on any of these items, even if they are available in stores. First and foremost, they aren't very adaptable. Because of the way it's designed, you can feel it hitting a knot or lump when you turn it. Furthermore, it is incapable of bending to that extent. It's also a little rough around the edges. It's abrasive, making it difficult to work with and turn. Basically, it's a waste of time. I reverted to my old habits. These are truly awful designs. br>These aren't impact designs, either. You will literally destroy the inside after a few seconds of impact, causing it to no longer work/turn. These, like all the others, are a waste of time. Make sure you don't throw your money away.
I've had great luck with the brand Lexivon; I bought the large version and loved it, then saw they had a slim version and went to try them; oh my did they exceed my expectations. I've used them all on hand ratchets, electric ratchets, and my 1/2 milwaukee fuel impact wrench, and they've held up to my abuse. I'm afraid they'll break if they're hit too hard, but I've been using them every day at work for over a month and haven't had any concerns about them breaking. I wish they had some black and red tools to match my milwaukees, but other than that, 10/10 would recommend to a friend or family member who works in the field.
I did read some of the customer reviews, and some of the adapters were reported to have broken while in use. I haven't been able to solve that problem so far. They are substantial, as the outside diameter of these adapters may surprise some users. I have two Gearwrench adapters, which are identical in detail to these Lexivon adapters because they appear to be made on the same assembly line; however, I've been very pleased with these Lexivon adapters so far, and have used them with an IR 1/2" air impact, a DeWalt 1/2" and a DeWalt 3/8" cordless impact. This set of impact adapters is something I would buy again and recommend to others.
For phnumatic and impact tools, this rating is appropriate. Way better than a standard U joint because there is a consistent turn instead of the oval "hump" that occurs when turning a u joint in tight angles and places. I bought these because I needed to get behind an intake manifold to replace spark plugs on a 1mzfe engine without removing it. Excellent value for money and a fantastic piece of gear. I've purchased other tools from these people in the past, and they have never disappointed me. They could be the next Dewalt or Milwaukee, but for accessories rather than power tools.
They are bulky, so if you need something thinner due to space constraints, I would recommend a swivel socket, but I believe they are adequate for all other purposes. They appear to have a long life ahead of them, but only time will tell.
I really like these tools, Lexivon. They gave me a torque wrench that is extremely powerful. It was of excellent quality and came with an excellent carrying case. These drivers are extremely sturdy, and I'm confident that they will not break. I do wish they had some sort of storage case for them, though. Diesel will almost certainly end up at the bottom of my tool bag.
