Shifts as smooth as butter, grips as smooth as sandpaper (both good things), and no longer a ticking time bomb. It is well worth the money to have peace of mind. The only suggestion I have is to include bike-specific instructions; the difference between no downshift and shifting like butter is half a quarter turn for adjustment, but such is life. Thanks to Barnett for a great product; I enjoy it on every sunny day. Peace.
The installation is fairly simple, and the clutch is of excellent quality. It took me about an hour to an hour and a half to complete. A cheap bike jack comes in handy for keeping the bike upright while working and refilling the primary fluid. However, it is not required. Overall, the clutch is fantastic. It grabs firmly and appears to be exactly what I was looking for. The removal of the "grenade" plate is a huge plus as well.
It's simple to set up and grabs what it's supposed to grab.
Installing is a breeze.
The extra friction plate was simple to install and eliminated the time bomb that was the Harley Davidson clutch. Also, tell the bike that it's fine to stand up and return.
It works fine, and it's nice to be rid of the grenade plate, but it's a little jerky at low rpms.
