I'm not sure how big it is, but it went right on top of my TH350 As long as there is a gap between the crank and converter, you will still need the circular adapter.
I had the same problems with this flexplate, so I'd recommend it
The spacer did not need to be used on the 71 El Camino

I couldn't be happier! This product was just what I needed to keep my TH400 transmission when I swapped the LS in my 67C10.
The product fit like a glove and was very comfortable.
The fit percentage of the flex plate for the shift to 4L60E. In spite of the spacer, you still need it for 6 as well. The swap rate is 0.
If that was the case you would be able to use an LSA and open those holes and save money.
