Questions & Answers

I was wondering if this fit a 2007 Do you have a 0 horsepower engine and transmission?

Trying to figure it out. Using a 2003 5 as a testbed, it worked well. The engine is a 3 L with a 4L80E transmission. A starter gear that had too much run out on it caused it to shake and grind, so I had to return one.

What is the fit between a LY6 and a 4L80E?

I am not talking about an early short crank 6 here. The spacer is 0 (it has one)

The bolts that came with mine were missing. Is that what it was supposed to do?

The bolts that came with mine were missing.

The 4l80e is connected to the 5 via this cable
5/5

The flex plate you need to connect your fours is this one. Eight of five. The 4l80e can take 3 x 3 x 3. The product seems to be of high.

Flexible plate to convert an LS motor to a TH350/400 motor
5/5

A great flex plate if you're using a TH350 or 400 transmission with an LS engine. It's just a matter of bolting it on and going. This spacer comes with the screws and nuts. There were bolts included in this kit.

The reason why FLEX plates are called that is because they are flexible
5/5

In a nutshell, The first thing to consider is the fit Short crank, single cylinder engines are the ones that use the spacer. These engines were almost all built I bought this for my 2003 LQ4 truck. It fit perfectly. I can use a 4l80e with 0 problems. As long as the old spacer was on the crankshaft, there was no need for a spacer. Depending on whether there was a spacer on your crank, you can either use that or this. I don't believe this spacer is going to somehow make this torque converter mate up to a torque converter with a different bolt pattern. Giving it just one star because you were unprepared is unjustified and why there should be a contest for a review on Amazon. However, flex plates are flexible. You should be able to weld a ring to a round flat steel piece and keep it perfectly flat if you can do It should account for most of the wobble if it's bolted to the torque converter and the torque converter carries the majority of rotating mass. There is even a wobble to the outer ring of the flexplate on new engines. In the case of a wobble that causes a co better to move, you have bigger problems than just.

It can be used as a swap or as a replacement for Silverados with 6 cylinders
5/5

A range of 0 to 4L80E is possible. It was my pleasure to receive the flexplate. The spacer and longer bolts are used to install the piece properly. It looks good and has the spacer and longer bolts. Flexible plates come in a variety of shapes and sizes. The one I have is a 5, so I needed this one. Bolted onto a transmission 4L60E was a 3. On the 5, you have a flexplate. The 3 bolt configuration of the 3 to 4L60E is in a dished design. Since this torque converter does not properly engage with the 4L80E torque convertor due to spacing issues, and the 80E torque converter has a six bolt setup, it cannot properly engage.

The Flexplate 4L80E fits 6 inch chassis
5/5

The year 2004 is 0L. I bought this to replace the stock rearview mirror in my 2004 Silverado 2500HD 4x4, it works great, mine came with bolts too, but I did not use them I opted to use ARP bolts instead. I also used ARP bolts to attach the torque converter to the flex plate. I was able to fix my truck in one afternoon with this product, it fit perfectly, had a good balance, and was very inexpensive. I would purchase this product again if I needed it!.

I like it
5/5

It is a bit heavy for a frisbee, and no one wanted to play with my cool metal frisbee at the park. However, once I was done being sad about being left out of the frisbee games at my local park, I tried putting this frisbee into my 427 LS3 across from my 4l80 transmission, and it worked like a charm! A spacer to mount the rod to the crank (I did not use mine because I was using a billet long pilot converter) and bolts to attach it to the rod.

This is the perfect It was the perfect A high-quality product
5/5

Easily installed and running in a 2001 GMC Sierra 2500HD for 6 cylinder engines. Compared to my original one, the new one is like having a brand new used truck, since it was cracked all the way around the mounting holes. If I had the option to buy it again, I would. This part is good, as it contains a pre-installed shim It comes with a 6 bolt kit (not needed on my truck) that is also required to assemble it. It cost much more to work on the part than it did to buy it. If you lose your transmission, you will have to start over. I'm sure most guys are not up to this kind of work on a Saturday afternoon.
