GM differential, 5 inch, 10 bolt. You'll probably need screws that are longer than the ones provided. Don't forget to purchase the gasket. Amazon has it for $4. With the permatex grey, I had to remove my cover because it wasn't sealing properly (not due to the product, but due to the mating surface on my diff). One final point. When filling up your diff fluid, you'll still need to remove the OEM fill plug. The fill hole on this product is only there for convenience and not to ensure proper fill capacity. If you use this product's fill hole as a reference, you will OVERFILL the difference. In any case. . . The product appears to be fantastic, and I adore it: ) The look I was going for wasn't overly flashy.
So far, it appears to be of good quality; I'll have to wait and see how it performs once I install it.
It was well worth the money. It turned out to be even better than I had hoped.
greater than anticipated.
It ought to work fine.
This was a Father's Day gift to me. If it hadn't come within the confines of a possible crack, I would have given it a five-star rating. It's difficult to tell if the problem is due to the mold being made or if it will become a problem in the future. A small spot of paint had peeled away from the bearing cap lock nut on the front. I'm a bit picky, so I thoroughly examined this. I still adore it, and it would have received five stars if it had been in perfect condition. I'm so excited to get my Chevelle out of the garage!.
