What is the distance between this and the diff's sealing surface?

Probably a half pound more than normal. With mine, I had no problems with clearance.

Hello, can you tell me where the Filler plug is located? You can see two in the picture, one in the middle and the other higher. ?

The greater the amount of filler, the higher the price.

Is this compatible with a Jeep XJ?

The dana 30 is standard on the Jeep XJ. As a result, a Dana 44 cover isn't a viable option.

The material is thick and durable

The cover is great, heavy dutybr>However, the bolts are not grade 8, as they are marked on the head, but chine crap that snapped off with a 3/8" ratchet before I Evan could get to the tork wrench. If you don't want to send bolts, just use real grade 8! I could tell my glasses were bad as soon as I put them on. Because of the bolts, the product looks great on the cover but gets a half-bad review. I smashed the cover on rocks and it still works fine with no leaks.

For extreme off-roading, it's mounted on both differentials. roading. The majority of clubs demanded different covers, which are extremely durable. Note: They'll rust unless they're painted.
