In my case I rigged my clutch pedal with allen head bolts attached to it and I used the Allen set screw and two washers to attach it to the heim joint where the rod attaches to the clutch pedal at 5/8" with the swivel connected to it to the rod.

This is a fantastic solution to a design flaw. I was afraid to cut the pushrod while the truck was still in the shop after reading the reviews. It wasn't too difficult for me; I simply used a dremel with stone cutting wheels to cut directly below the factory loop. I broke four cutting wheels due to shaky hands, but I got through it and the hind joint fit snugly on the remaining shaft. My clutch is now in good working order, and my cruise control has been restored. I'm glad I went ahead and fixed it.
My clutch was almost to the floor and now it's all the way to the top, maybe cut the shaft too long and reinstall it if it doesn't have enough slack, then trim a little more from the clutch rod, i have a flexible clutch line so I was able to pull the master without draining the fluid, i used a h. grinder's cut,.
The most time-consuming part was removing the bracket and cutting the rod; you'll be sore for a long time. Make sure you don't cut too much off the rod or the rod fix will bottom out. Mine makes contact, but it has no effect on performance.
For my F250 7, it turned out to be insufficiently durable and long-lasting. 3 diesel.
Cutting with a Dremel tool is a lot easier. Taking off the old leaver and ball was the most difficult part. Due to the binding of the old parts, it appears that the problem has been solved and the clutch has become easier to push.
The product was of good quality and arrived quickly.
I didn't have to remove the pedal rack to drill a hole for the shoulder bolt, and it worked great. Highly recommended to get rid of the slop from the Ford chincy bushing, and if your clutch isn't slipping, I would install this to make tranny shift without grinding. Also, the price is fantastic.
250 If the area where the push rod goes in was deeper, it would have worked better.
