Genuine GM 25923882 Windshield Wiper System Module

I like this part a lot! According to my research, this is a genuine original equipment part. I resolved the issue with the slow wipers. It took me just over an hour to install, but I had all the tools I needed on hand to complete the task. Please note that when removing the plastic cowling there will be a plastic push-in trim fastener just to the passenger side of the passenger wiper post that will need to be removed. As a first step in reinstalling the cowling, I recommend installing this fastener first as the remaining fasteners may be adjusted in position from the cowling, but not this one. There is a major challenge in getting the old assembly out of the cowling space. This requires rotating the transmission/motor assembly after it has been unbolted (just 3 nuts) on the passenger side, then following that with the new assembly. The new assembly goes in opposite of the original.

My original ones stopped working. The lubricant has probably been gone for a while and has decided to come back at the spindles to weld itself. In my experience, this item was easy to install and has worked well in the past. In the last year or two.
