I work for a gm parts department and this is less than half the price of a gm part so I took a chance since I had already replaced the original with a different brand that worked fine but wasn't as good as the original this one is defective and works worse than the original gm i had in it i tried to exchange it but amazon wouldn't let me so I requested a refund these must be gm rejects for the price since it didn't work be cautious if.

For the time being, it works perfectly. I was able to save a considerable amount of cash. Chevy was looking for 172. It was originally priced at 00, but I was able to get it for 73. In addition, they demanded 172 to install it. It was installed in less than 45 minutes. Very simple to set up! OEM part.

It was an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) repair part that worked flawlessly. br>The instructions that came with the package were straightforward. br>Information provided by: 3 new T25 Torx headed screws, new module, and new cover br>What's missing and what's needed: a T25 Torx wrench (the easiest to use is one that fits into a 1/4" drive socket) and automotive grade RTV (permatex blue is good). br>Instructions are silent on the following: Apply the sealant to the new cover plate as well as the "wedge" that surrounds the plug-in. inserted into the module's socket This will completely seal the internals of the housing (and your new module) from dust and water, preventing corroding and failure of your new module.

While on, I was able to fix my intermittent problem with wipers switching speeds (running on high even when on low at random). Jimmy is a 2001 GMC truck. If you're having the same issue, go ahead and buy the big one. It was a simple fix that also aided in the snow.
