I replaced the switch in my mom's car after she couldn't open the My brain being a mechanic automatically believes the worst, so I bought this switch with a minimal expectation of it totally fixing the issue, and it did.

Be advised I did have to remove the door panel and the switch housing in order to replace the switch. Unfortunately, that is not what happened.

There is no bezel on the button, but it works fine
4/5

As far as I can tell, this works just fine, but it doesn't come with a As a result, I have no excuse for not checking that before removing my old one, because, in place of removing the entire panel, I tried to take off In order to install this, I must either superglue the original bezel OR wait until I can purchase a new bezel, which is nearly as expensive as the switch itself. In the end, the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because of I thought that way in my naiveté believe it should be noted that it would only apply to the button.

I am so glad I replaced it The installation process is simple
5/5

For a 2011 Malibu, this was the perfect replacement for the trunk lid release switch. It is easy to switch out (and I'm not mechanically inclined). It works just fine. There was no need to remove the door panel for this replacement. To do so, I had to break the plastic bezel that the switch is encased in, and replace it. This is what I had planned for and I The best way to replace a Malibu's switch (without removing the door) can be found in this YouTube video. If you search for it, you'll find it quickly.

The correct part was nowhere to be found in my order, so I bought this in place of the Camaro part. It fitted perfectly though.

The 2012 Chevy Malibu LTZ looks great
5/5

I was able to press the button without any problems. Installing it was a bit of a hassle. If you want a car door trunk button, you will need to be careful to not damage the bezel that surrounds the button. Since the new button doesn't come with one, it will be up to you to search for it if it gets switched.
