It is possible to replace rocker switches as long as they meet the specifications on the plate, which most do. In order to use this panel with any switch other than a 5 pin one, you will need to adjust the wiring.
The switches are lit with blue leds
If you need to isolate the dash backlight LED from the device, use a relay. While the dash backlight LED can be powered separately from the device, the "ON" LED can only be powered from the input that also feeds the device.
This switch is illuminated so it is easy to locate in dimly lit conditions, but it also has a separate light that illuminates when it is pressed. Wiring can be done so both the lights are on or both off, switch polarity can be reversed, and so on. It just depends on how much skill you have.

This is an issue that not everyone would want to deal with. As a result, I am here. I wanted to wire each switch in its own circuit on a 12port independent fuse panel. This isn't hard at all. An easy to use interface. I really like how clean and simple it looks. There is a USB 3 plugged in now. You can also keep track of voltage with a USB fast charging voltmeter. I am happy with the results. It would be better if the stickers that go onto the rocker switch fitted better (fit), but they do the job.
We recently updated the panel along with blue lights to use at night on my husband's used aluminum boat, it really looks good and works great! This winter he bought a used aluminum boat and this winter we decided to upgrade it, this panel and blue lights were added. I found it very easy to install, and it makes all the upgrades work together well.
if you need more than one fuse. As soon as the switch was turned on, it fell apart. A piece of metal came out of the back when it fell off. For the first time I needed a fuse in six place where 12V would be on or off. The problem is that I can't solve it. I've used my voltmeter to test the posts, but I can't connect them.
