Unlike momentary switches, this does not last for a short period of time. As soon as you turn it on, it stays on until you move it back to the It's on it's way back!
There is no doubt about it. Looking at the switch from the bottom, the top and bottom pins will join together to form a jumper cord and lead cable, and then be connected to your key switch or accessories port. The center pin will not be used in this process.
The most common fault is the 3 small wires that control it or the solenoid itself if there is only one rocker switch and the hot wire is in the middle. Unplug the solenoid and check the three small wires that are connected. My experience with them is more negative than my experience with

During the winch installation, there is a momentary switch. With my winch installed on my RZR, I used this method to keep the factory appearance and install the switch in the cab. There are different ways in which you can wire this. There isn't any information in the directions about whether the switch LEDs will light up until it is turned on. Since I wanted the blue LED to be always on, I wired it in a different way. Attached is a picture of two different ways each option can be done. If you want the blue LED to continuously illuminate, make sure that 12 volts are tapped onto posts 1, 2, 3 & 4. Small leads from the solinoid attach to terminals 4 and 6 as well as terminal seven, which is the ground terminal. Every time the key is turned on, this method will keep the switch illuminated. If you only wanted the switch to light up when it is pressed, I enclosed a picture of that wiring too. The overall effect is good and gives me the look I was looking for.
In other reviews on this site, it is described how to wire up the switch so that the back light will be available when the key is in accessory mode. You can follow the wiring instructions and it will work Jumper connections make installation easier, and I appreciate how it comes with them. Installed it on my Polaris rzr4 1k XP and it matched exactly the color of the factory switch. Using a razor knife to follow the perforations with will yield a fit, but they'll be about 1/16" wider and taller than the cutout will end up. Take a file to the top and sides of the hole until the switch pops in past the I plan on buying more MICTUNING switches in the future as I add more accessories to my RZR.
Just leave the key turned on for it to remain lit all the time. You can see a wiring diagram that works in a picture that I found online! Fits with the rest of the gauges on my RZR!.
After purchasing it, I was a bit leery of the reviews I read. There are no instructions, but if you want the switch to be lit, wires 1 through 3 should be connected to the switch By connecting a 3 volt battery to either your ignition or your acc, the whole switch will glow when the 2 & 3 A battery ranging from 5 to +, and a cell phone with 4 to + Adding 6 to your winch will make it easier to use. It has a momentary switch, 5 to 7, and it is grounded. Everything worked as expected when I tested it off the vehicle.
The switch was not a momentary switch, as some people complained. As far as I was concerned, it was and operated perfectly. In addition to other buyers, I also noticed that the light only lights up when the button is pressed, which is kind of useless since you need the light to see during the night. By doing a little hack on the switch I am now able to tie it to my headlights so that it turns on when they Here are the steps you can follow to upload a video to YouTube Remove the back cover with a small screwdriver. 2) Plug the small screwdriver into a small outlet. When pulling the switch apart, make sure the switch faces up since it has three springs within it.
3) Two of the springs rest on the You might want to remove them. 4) One spring looks as if it does not The connection is to ground, so this one can be left 5) Solder a wire to both V+ terminals on the switch's inner side. 6) Solder another wire to one of the V+ terminals and drill a small hole in the bottom of the switch where it won't interfere with the switch's movement and run the wire through it. You can use this to turn on the lights by connecting it to your positive connection. 7) Connect the switch back to the wall. You can test this out! I hope.
It had a major malfunction with the jumper wire for the main power to the switch not being able to function properly. My new winch was wired up with my RZR with a brand new winch I tested it in the garage and it worked fine a few weeks later I tried to show it off in the mountains for my daughter's birthday and somehow, the winch didn't start. It's embarrassing to have 50 feet of wire cable wrapped around a tree and I literally have no idea how to tie it back up. My family was laughing at me. In my home, I went through all the wiring from the start to finish and found out the jumper wire from the main power to the switch was damaged. Having to install my own wiring, I rewired the device. The last thing I would want is to be stuck up in the mountains and see this happen because of a bad electrical system.
Despite wiring this as instructed in the instructions, it does not light up when it is turned on, it only does so when the winch is in motion. The switch doesn't work and doesn't appear to be available so I am stuck with a dark switch. I ordered 3 switches from the same manufacturer so that they were all identical, but this does not match. I have updated In a video I found on the internet, the correct wiring was shown to make the lights work when the key is turned There is nothing wrong with the switch, only with the instructions.
They work well and fit perfectly. Directions are not the best, but they are easy to follow. It is a little challenging getting these items in and out of the dashboard, so I will not call it easy. Despite that, the product itself has nothing to do with this. If I needed more, I would purchase more, and so far there has been no issue. You should definitely try it.
