Can I use this in my 2005 Duramax LL Extended Cab Short Box?

Please note that this did fit my 2005 GMC Duramax LLY regular cab if that is helpful. If I have to remove this tank on the bottom again, I might lift the box next time. It is a hassle to take it out from the bottom.

Before I had replaced the fuel tank sensor with an aftermarket brand, and they didn't last. It costs a little more for the GM brand, but it's well worth the price.
