It's a good quality product and fits my 99 Lexus RX300 well This caused the fault codes to be resolved I have two PO441s and two PO446s. As well as replacing the gasoline cap, I also replaced the oil cap. The only complaint I have is that it does not have the same orientation as the original one that for example, this one would be facing up, and mine would be facing down (and vice versa depending on the perspective you use). As long as that was the case, I wouldn't mind too much since it fit, but it also caused the cable to be oriented differently, preventing it from fitting because the plastic arrow that tells you orientation was on the same side of the cable but on the other end of it. Consequently, I had to cut the extra piece of plastic from the guide using a sharp knife to I have passed the emissions test, and the system otherwise works well.
Although it is working, the mounting bracket housing will not thread the mount screw into the engine and it can be mounted improperly to the engine.
Had ordered the part early 2019 but was unable to install it until just now. Removed the old vacuum switch and installed the black vacuum switch just as it had been placed, everything went well except for the electrical connection being incorrect and the plug not fitting. I was able to install the old vacuum switch without any trouble. Trying to reset the check engine switch is extremely frustrating since I still can't get it to work.
My car was stated to be compatible with this product. This was not the case. It cost $20 more from a local auto store but I got the right part. In this case, it makes sense.
I am very pleased with this part. I found the issue to be with the emission control I had my EVAP Vacuum Switching Valve replaced by this guy and the light immediately went out. The emissions testing station was fine, so we went straight there. Thanks a lot.
My favorite part about the product is.
A representative of Automotive Electronics said it would fit my 97 Lexus ES300. However, the electrical connection does not work.
