Questions & Answers

Does it adjust up and down? If so, how does it do this?

The brightness can be adjusted, but the preset is better. on the end of the bolt that can be removed and adjusted with an Allen wrench of the proper size

How well does this work with a T1519 S&S engine on a 94 custom build?

You should be able to use it as it is set to close at 6 in Hg of vacuum, but you can remove the plug and set it at another value if you wish. I agree, but what about giving them to We really want VOES at 6 in Hg to work with their ignition, so we'll give them a call.

What is the difference between a grounded and an ungrounded wire?

matter which way you do it, it will still work

The only thing I have is an EVO with a S&S case guess, no ECM. The ECM is not necessary. Does it work without it?

According to my understanding, the ECM As I got my 1994 A system with an electronic control module Control of the Vacuum assembly by the ECM is present. I'm Sam, *br>

There is no such thing as six inches in Hg, but rather six inches
5/5

The normally open vacuum switch on this board is set to close at 6 in Hg of vacuum. I don't think six inches is the right The vacuum gauge I used was a piece of equipment. At first, it seemed a bit confusing, but after it arrived in the mail, it became clear. I help others in this way. Inches should not be used to describe this item because vacuum units, in Hg, should be used. It is my responsibility to remove the silicone plug and reinstall it My hot rodden engine's ignition timing needs advance to improve its durability, so I need to adjust the screw on my Harley ignition to the needed vacuum setting. After that, replace the silicone to reseal the seal. So, as it stands, the ignition module advances ignition timing each time the engine vacuum from the carburetor reaches/goes above 6 in Hg vacuum when you change the throttle. In idle conditions, the vacuum is lower, or 6 inches of water gauge or less, at which point the ignition timing will be retarded Older Harley engines with carburetor ignitions tend to have two curves for the ignition map. You need one curve for low speed and low throttle riding or idle, and another curve for passing cars when going wide open throttle or just going WOT.

Switching the VOES on and off
5/5

Installing this switch could not be easier since it came with every part needed. It is a pleasure to work with you. When the VOES are working, the bike runs so much better! I am not sure how long the bike has been without power. The power is back and the idle is excellent now (the engine ran fine, but it had been sluggish)! I received my order very quickly.

It's a Positive Improvement to Have VOES on H4
5/5

It took me drilling my manifold to accept a piece of copper of 1/8". The job is carried out by JBWeld. With the H4, VOES is a more significant change than keeping the circuit open when I first got it.

I was having a problem with my old Electraglide on the interstate, where it was coughing and hesitating under the throttle
5/5

While I realized I did not have an intake leak, and adjusted the ignition advance a little, I was still unable to solve the problem. It was only a matter of time before I It is working great now and the old Evo Big Twin is no longer experiencing any problems.

I was very pleased with the result! In the end, my mechanic told me to bypass the VOES switch once it became worn out, and it would start running like new! I got the new VOES switch, installed it, and now my truck is happily running! I can't find the part at a shop, they told me that it's obsolete
5/5

My electroglide is 28 years old and still going strong.
