If the vehicle has a smidge of a hole already there, you might have to slowly drill it out once the press is on. After a little bit of drilling, I used epoxy and puttied the joint. I have tested it out, and it works perfectly.
I found it to be very generic and the opening to be quite Putting it on my mom's Ford Ranger required a lot of Super Glue. The Dakota stem is not known to be of the right size.
This release rod does not have a nut on the inside. It is just plastic like the original. I simply unscrewed the old one and screwed the new one on (the release rod cuts a thread in it).
An application for this handle will be found on GM vehicles.

This is an excellent product and a good value for its price. I am very pleased with how well it works. Despite Amazon's garage stating it will not work with an older phone The replacement handle actually works quite well on the 98 Ranger, and Ford has discontinued the actual handle itself. Drilling an opening slightly in the rod is all that needs to be done. A break release rod is attached snugly to the end of it. Furthermore, it's not too wide to fit well with the current break release. Despite not using glue, it stuck so well that I did not even have to use any. The drill should be operated slowly and only a very little of the plastic must be removed.
It went in my 1974 Chevrolet pick up, so it got a 4 star review only because the hole was a little off center, but other than that it looked good, and no glue was necessary.
This brake handle is intended as a replacement for broken ones. It does exactly what it is supposed to do. Considering that it is an inexpensive knock off and the plastic is thinner with mold issues, it still performed in the same way it should have.
A tiny bit of drilling and some glue later, it was done. Worked like a charm and stuck on A simple repair is required.
I wasn't sure if it would work. I bought this for my 1986 Jeep CJ I have correctly translated 7 into English. Initially was unsure whether it would fit as Advanced Auto offers this part on their website and it states that it won't work, but anyways I gave it a shot. The Advanced Auto show - don't listen to it A part such as this fits the.
As my classic muscle car required an upgrade, I decided to buy one. It is a low-cost way to solve the problem It was made to look like the real thing. There was no problem with the rod going through it, since it was thin. The GM parts I purchased for a few dollars more were genuine parts, so I threw this in the garbage. Do not buy it if you're looking for an authentic replacement.
I don't know if others have had better experiences, but it did not last for me.
Reproduction of great quality.
